I really like this spec, but I'm not sure it matches the ep description. It says:

Which seems to indicate that Chris is having concerns before the 'moment' between L/L. So Lorelai must be somewhat unenthusiastic about something else that has nothing to do with Luke. Though I still can't work out how everything else we know about this ep fits in with L/C being gosh-darn cute with the realtor.

So the welcome wagon must come near the beginning of the ep. If Luke is slamming the door, maybe Anna just told him about moving to NM and he's already in a bad mood when he sees the "happy couple." Then Lorelai complains to Sookie about her life blah, blah, blah, then Jackson and Chris have a beer and then Chris ruins the Knitathon and Liz has the baby at the end.

Do we actually know that they’re even acting really couply? For all we know, they could “look cute” by just standing there smiling with their arms linked.

That's very true. I think you could be right in the essentials in your spec, but I'm inclined to think there will be other signs from Lorelai that's she's not 100% committed before she sees Luke. I like the idea of the realtor thing happening early on. How about L/C somewhat jokingly go to see a house - Lorelai isn't seriously contemplating it, but after some 'cute' banter, Chris reveals he's serious about moving. Lorelai isn't. This begins Chris's doubts about Lorelai's commitment which is compounded by L/L's 'moment' and then a fight about exchanging vows.

That sounds couply to me. I guess we don't really know one way or the other about L/C in their meeting with the realtor, but I figure it's best to prepare myself in case there's another nauseating L/C scene to endure.

Standing there with their arms linked doesn't usually make someone think something is so adorable that they forget their lines. I assumed they were going to be all couple-y. If not? EVEN BETTER! Heh.
