I think it's either after the realtor's or the LL run in or both... and maybe Lorelai just like turned down the idea of vows or something. Any of those could explain Chris having the upset face for once.

and you were thinking that she wouldn't be?

i just love seeing Chris being the unhappy one for once. It has to show that he's starting to realize things. Like in ep. 8 he was so dopey and oblivious while Lorelai had her sad faces on... it looks like the roles are reversing almost.

Well we could hope that the end of ep 10 includes Lorelai throwing the ring at Chris while he's on the ground, then run off to Luke "My hero"

maybe thats where the whole vow renewal thing comes up?

i have a feeling its gonna be more pissy-ness aimed at Emily that an each other unfortunatly.

I don't think chris's attitude will be at Emily. he likes Emily and is thrilled that she's happy for CL, remember? But Lorelai, i'm sure her look is all about being unhappy with Emily and the party.

I wonder if those pics are when the vow thing is springed on them and Lorelai says something like just "no" and Chris is mad or something.

But the ep description has C&L fight over whether the SHOULD do the vows, not how or when, but I agree someone (more likely Lorelai) is gonna be pissed at Emily. IMO Chris wants it but Lorelai not.

Yep you gotta love this town when DSR lets them out to play!

I just wish they were not so one sided last season hiding things from Luke.

Yeah it has a few minor bugs but overall it is much better than 1.5. just waiting on a couple of updates for extensions.

I'm betting that is why Chris wants to house hunt in 7.10. The town doesn't like him. Especially after whatever he does to end the knit a thon. Lorelai will go along with him, thinking the town was rude. So they do the house hunting thing all couple-y. Everything is going great. They're going to do the party with Emily etc. Then they see Luke. Luke and Lorelai have their moment. And then Lorelai completely changes her tune about everything. About moving. About throwing the party. They still have to meet with Emily. It doesn't go well. Christopher goes back into town, sees Luke, and fights him.

Kind of sounds like a possibly good episode.

That explains why they were so gosh darn adorable in the realtor's presence. I think this is a good spec for the time line. Even if I don't want to believe that Lorelai would give up Stars Hollow for Christopher, he is her husband. Makes sense she wouldn't be happy with her old friends hating on him.

So can we blame Luke for defending him self (or his town) if Chris comes looking for him blaming him and the town for Lorelai's actions. If this is what happens then Chris needs to remember that the town is part of the reason Lorelai is who she is today, or was until recently.

Ah. But Chris thinks she is the same old Lore. Realizing that she isn't should be part of his wake up call. (Not that I actually give a fig and a half about Chris's journey, but there you go.)

I agree. And I think Chris is going to destroy this relationship all on his own.
