You guys really think this is going to happen ? Seriously ? Oh come on. This is total bull. DR said the ending of this season could fit as an ending to the whole show or could be a nice start into the next season. How is that in the spoiler a propper ending for the show ? It's not and why is it again Scott's demands that could jeopardize the storyline or an 8th season ? He's totally into an 8th season. Just watch his interviews.

yeah, thats what i was confused about? she wouldn't need a room for a few months so there is time to figure it out, but hopefully they wouldn't need too.

Maybe it's just me but I got the feeling they tried to set up a bridge between now and Christopher Returns.
The whole telling Rory at diner thing reminded me of when they met with Straub and Francine at the Gilmore Masion. I mean Chris really turns into Straub. Lorelai tries to tell Rory about the "marriage" and he just cuts her short. He has the upper hand during the whole episode. We just got a climpse in season one of how Straub and Francine are but that was enough for me and LC turn into that. He's going to do all the talking. Lorelai will just sit there not saying anything. I can already picture their encounter with Emily and Richard and I bet Richard will be the one who's going to take Lorelai aside and asking her what the hell she's doing. Where is that independent woman he was so proud of.
And the big You're a liar comment from Lorelai - for me totally an anvil. Chris lied in Christopher Returns about his business and how he really was doing. Something is coming. I don't really think he's lying about his money this time but something else is up his sleeves. I don't trust this guy.

It makes sense that they'd want to get GiGi's room ready... as far as painting and everything. And also, Chris seems to be moving out of his apartment at top speed. So maybe he just wanted to get all of GiGi's stuff somewhere.

And i'm just mad that they're actually killing like the Rory's room set. Painting it pink. I think that's getting to me more than anything last night. But Lorelai's moving on.. Rory's out, Chris and GiGi are in... mrph.

i for one have no idea. i think if this is the last season DR will give GG the proper seriers finale it rightfully deserves but, i wouldn't mind seeing it go one one more year.

God please, only 5 more eps.....I´m getting sick and tired of Dopey running through the CSand now SH.....I really hope they burn the place down when he´s gone.....

Major WORD Fuzzy. I'm sick to death of Christopher. I think he's had more screen time than Rory this season. Even if he wasn't the ass that he is (and totally messing up L/L) I would still be peeved that a character we've seen so little of for SIX seasons is suddenly all over the show when we've only got a little more than half a season left in the entire series.

He had more screen-time then nearly any other character, more then Rory, Emily, Richard, Logan, Luke, Sookie....this is Gilmore Girls, not the Dopey show, or did I miss something.

thats why i likened it to that one about Lorelai being adopted that we got this summer, lots of details too soon.

I have more to say but I'm on the wrong computer at the moment so I'll make it snappy.

Luke and Lorelai's SHORT conversation revolve around their love for their daughters.
Chris/Lorelai's long conversations revolve around their life at 15.

Who knows Lorelai better? Dex? Or George?

And is Lorelai going to go ahead with the renewing wedding vows in front of company in 7.10, or apologize and say she doesn't really love Chris (well, within 3 episodes)?

What stuck out at me like sore thumbs in the episode:

1. Chris has no consideration for Rory. It's almost like she doesn't exist in his family and her consultation (asking her about her room) doesn't matter. Nor did he feel it important that Rory be at her mother's wedding.

2. Rory, Lorelai's BFF and Number 1 for 22 years, is given secondary treatment and she's mad at that. Lorelai realizes the conflict and seeks Rory out, eventually having a really awkward but necessary Lorelai/Rory scene which EMPHASIZES the point of this show. GILMORE GIRLS. This show is about THEM. (Context aside, Rory and Lorelai met an understanding of some sort).

3. Luke's number one at the moment in April. Lorelai understands that completely. She relates that to Rory, and as I said above, Rory is her BFF and number 1 concern. This doesn't change instantly no matter how quickly C/L said their vows.

What do these say about the future of our Gilmore Girls, the future of Chris, the future of Luke, and the future of C/L???
