So it's time to say goodbye huh? What a sad moment!!
I only joined last year but you immediately made me feel welcomed. Thank you all for everything you provided over the year. It was highly appreciated.

Just a reminder that someone suggested we spoiler refugees can use this thread on the main GG board. I would really like to see you over there. As sappy as it sounds i will miss not talking and speculating with you (well we have nothing to speculate now but just to hang around). So i really really hope you all stay around.
I think i'm more sad about losing the people than losing the show

Anyway i'll be around till this thread closes (if i'm awake that's it) but goodbye to everyone. Hope to see you around

I also think the only reason their friendship was still strained in 7.22 was because they still had intense feelings for each other. By the end of the episode, it was clear to me that their friendship was solid once again. JMO
I tend to think LL are now in a better place than they were since S6. They're in love, that's a given. But throughout their engagement, their heads were all over the place....now, finally, I see them as being in the same place & ready and willing to jump together, work things out and just be together. So, while I'll forever be sad we didn't see a wedding...I do think LL is heading in the right direction and they are in a good place with "all the time" in the world to be together. JMO, of course.

Oh, I don't want to say goodbye yet...."it's too soon"

I found this: the first Gilmore Girls Luke and Lorelai Analysis and Speculations Thread from November 23, 2004.
It was in season 5!

That just makes me mad. I mean, I wish we could have seen their wedding and everything that ASP seemed to promise us during the first 5 seasons, but I'm almost more upset that the characters themselves were barely friends again, barely comfortable around each other again by the end of the series, a point that pre-dates the pilot itself. Boo
Yeah...I do agree. When I first watched the episode, my sadness and nostalgia greatly overshadowed my unhappiness with the way LL ended. As Sara said, they are definitely in a good place...but...and as if I need to say it again... I really, really wanted that wedding.

Gjoni, I loved your thank you post. My own thank you could never compare, so I'll just second everything you said. You all have been like a home away from home these past few months, and when it comes to my investment in this show, you guys know me better than, I think, anyone else.

When you're starving and someone gives you one mouthful of food, it tastes very good. But it doesn't fill you. It doesn't cure the malnutrition.

That's why so many are bitter about the LL ending.

But is it really necessary to eat a whole lobster to savor it?

Mag, with what we got this past year, they were supposed to not only serve us lobster, but duck, as well. Oops, we got a lame duck, lol.

And thanks for the LL thread info - I guess season 5 because that's when LL officially first became a couple.
I wonder if the MT was around since the beginning.

Ah, we never did get those lobsters, did we?

Man, I wasn't asking for a whole lobster. Just a few decent meals. Even one.

You can only savor a single bite for so long. At least me. Maybe some people can savor that one bite forever. I'd say it doesn't begin to make up for all the puking I did this year. Final score negative, lab reports show a nutritional deficit - I was much better nourished two years ago.

No not the whole, but a little bit more would've been great to be full.

lancer, give me a few moments, lol. I'm sticking around till this closes.
I still want to get podcast info.... at least.
Well TPTB (aka the Mods) said 19-20 and it's just the 19 here now so I think we have a day or two to go.

I'd like to thank everyone also who posted spoilers and news over the last few years (has it been that long?) I've posted here, I wouldn't have a fraction of the news on my site without all you help.

BTW - it's passed 10Gb of traffic so far this month.

I think Lauren was talking to the fans in Bon Voyage.

WOW the memories, even though I was not around back then. Actually I can't believe it took almost till mid 5th season (going by the page) to get a L&L thread.

Could you be any more dramatic about a television show? I worry that you are completely way too emotionally involved in this show. Lighten up.
