LOL - totally understandable. I grew up watching almost as much German tv as Danish and didn't think much abot the dubbing in the beginning, but when I realized what was 'going on' I was so surprised. And I still can't believe they do it. Amazing.

I love the "I suit you" from Rory. In 1.02 when Lorelais ask Rory about Luke being cute. Rory answers that she can't possible date Luke and now this line. Nice! Rorys look is great too. Not as great as her all-time best look (in the karaoke scene), but close.

So.. of to watch GA season finale while *Covering-my-eyes-so-I-don't-see-empty-GG-pictures*

BTW; those waves of sadness have really started to kick in here. Closer and closer. Am trying not to think too much about not ever watching a new GG episode again..

when i did my knee i watched season 1-6 on dvd and i probably will next year! but i normaly watch the whole season when i get the box set, i pre-order mine so the minute there out in america its already on a ship to perth!! ah

i watched 301 today best quote " is it just me or is this whole town crazy" aha made me get tears in my eyes knowing that next tuesday and all the rest tuesdays there wont be anymore gilmore girls

Well it depends how you started out. If you dubbed right from the beginning people got used to it. If you just put subtitles under it people are used to that. Changing from subtitles to dubbing is way easier than the other way around. I bet people would start a riot here if they got subtitles from now on

The happy pills you seem to have got didn't reach me so far. The finale stinks and is in no way a good goodbye to the show. Like Rory said it's a bad bye and the LL scene is one big joke. The one thing they throw in for us and they had to zoom out in such a bad way and go back to the party. Every amateur would have done a better job in filming/editing that kiss scene. It was ridiculous.

Watching the last bits over and over again, I noticed something else... I absolutely adore the tone of voice and the look in her eyes when Lorelai says "We've got a stop to make" before they go to the diner.

Your dvd box might have been sitting on the ship next to my dvd box, cause that's what I did too.

Still not dead?

Nothing new and it has been told many times, but the Lorelai-Luke scene in "Bon Voyage" and what they say is in my opinion one of the most beautiful love scenes, when two people declare the love for each other. The simply word: "Luke" makes wonder; and with Lorelai facial expression is more worth than all ILYs she said to Christopher. The same with what Luke said: "I just like to see you happy". It's more important than his ILYs from Martha's Vineyard.
One of the most beautiful "ILY" scenes I saw, without ILYs.

And today with "Haunted Leg" Kirk asking Lorelai out, she should have married him, and took half his money in the divorce LOL

So I guess Lorelai didn't want any of Chris money since it was never talked about.

I bet Luke helps pay for the new Spa's at the DFI, I just hope they get up try them out, maybe a couples massage

So are we expecting some more feedback from MA on the podcast today/tomorrow?

But maybe it's better we didn't see all being showed literally on screen in the very last minute of the episode/season/serie? That a lot remained unsaid?
But the promise has been given. Luke and Lorelai are together again. Is it really important, what kind of wedding dress will she wear?
But the kiss could last longer!

As long as it is not that ugly thing Amy picked out I'm good

The scene was sweet for sure but they could have given us a longer look on that kiss. I mean we had to see that D.W. in all his glory episode after episode and when we finally got a little something for us they zoom out. They really did a freaking poor job with it.

The more I watch the LL's measly scenes, the more I feel like you.
They were all beautiful scenes, but with regards to LL, they really did leave everything up to our imagination, and that's just too much missing for a good ending for these two characters, who probably took up roughly 1/3 - 1/4 of the time throughout the seasons. It was poorly planned and the tiny bit we got, was chopped and carelessly edited.
The show can't suddenly, in its final episode ever, revert back to focusing on issues that haven't been the main issues in a long time (like the Rory/Lane friendship, or even that the show's all about the mother and daughter), while brushing aside such a major story such as LL.
