but w/e....I liked it, just wanted one more LL scene....at this point for me, it's more about accepting

but love that they ripped the CW for their 'send-off'

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone here on FF for providing me a place where I could spend time obsessing over a show that we all love. Because of GG, I discovered that forums like this actually existed where fans could discuss and analyze their favourite TV shows.

With the wealth of information and knowledge that was shared on the GG spoiler threads, I found myself becoming obsessed with the show and the need for more information. Before I knew it, I was truly obsessed with GG (unlike any other TV show) and addicted to the spoiler threads at FF. I can’t count how many hours of my time was spent sitting on the floor or lying down (very, very bad posture indeed) in front of my computer reading countless pages of threads. I started to become a house hermit because I couldn’t stay away from my computer and FF for too long. When I was home sick for 4 months last summer, the spoiler threads were a blessing in disguise.

I actually remembered when I first started lurking that I would spend endless hours, way into the early morning, clicking on the “Previous Thread” links so that I could read people’s interpretations and discussions on the episodes and learn as much about the show and the actors as I could. It was an endless task trying to read back to the first thread so eventually I gave up and decided to join. I know my eyesight has gotten worse since discovering FF (no kidding here).

Since lurking and joining FF, I’ve seen real life played out on the pages. There have been marriages, births, deaths, new jobs, disagreements, harmony, joy, pain, disappointment, anger, and a host of other day-to-day life experiences with the fans here on FF. Through it all, we still stuck with each other in common bonding over one of the best shows ever on TV (Gilmore Girls).

Thank you all for keeping my company over the past year and a half and all the hard work that went into making this the best forum (IMO). Thanks for all the new threads, spoilers, articles, photos, interviews, clips, promos, transcripts and any other goodies that I’ve forgotten. It is sad that it had to come to an end but as they say, nothing good lasts forever.

I really miss GG and have to remind myself many times a day that it’s really over. The sadness of its demise washes over me when I least expect. I shall miss spending time here with you (lurking and participating) and impatiently awaiting the next spoiler or development with the residents of Stars Hollow and Hartford.

Thanks for that. Personally, I loved all the things that the podcast people hated. Yes it was kind of cheesy, but I like that in a series finale. LOL

I agree ... it is the cheese that makes it seem more final ... I am glad we got closure ... for the most part (don't get me wrong I would have loved a wedding and all that jazz.. but que sera sera)
