So my computer crashed last Friday - been without a computer since then - thank god for Lirbaries

Anyway where was that scene which supposed to be really incredible that they shot

because this entire episode for me was a 1- Rory was whiny, Lorelai was over emotional and Luke was his amazing self - i enjoyed them all coming our for Rory's bye bye party - I see that Lorelai finally agreed to a friday night dinner.

Anyway I think the finale was rushed, and just overly boring, and I agree whoever wrote that LG and the other writers wrote to remind us that Luke is just a townie, that was so obvious - there was no Luke or Lorelai closure- or opening I saw Luke giving Lorelai more time - the poor man will be 90 by the time she makes up her mind.

I read SP's MA interview and I agreed with him on everything. =

This show is over and especially after this awful year of writing its a good thing

who knows when I will get my computer back

Our Luke and Lorelai are now forced to wait forever because luke feels its up to Lorelai and Lorelai will wait forever

I have seasons 1 - 4 on tape but I don't think I will be able to watch it - it ending last night gave me a bad taste in my mouth

I just got home from anpther ambulance ride to the ER. I was rear ended at a red light. The guy was arguing with his kids and never stopped! I have whip lash, but thankfully nothing else.

I am off to watch the episode agan for the third time. I still cry when Lorelai goes into Rory's room. Way to real for comfort knowing I will be doing that in just 2 years

Love Luke, must have Luke...eat sleep and oh boy wouldn't you lke to know Luke (well maybe when my neck and back feels better)

E/R were awesome!

LG -she should get an emmy for this episode!

I can't believe we won't be seeing a new episode next week or waiting through hiatus.

I am so bumbed I found this site only 2 months ago. So unfair!
Craig- I hope you keep your site up...it is the first place I found GG info on!

Beautiful, ITA. Screw-ups, mistakes, weaknesses, and low points aside, Luke and Lorelai's love is one of the most real things I have ever seen on television. I will always be in love with this couple, I think, even when GG is old and forgotten.

Couldn't have said the bold part better myself. This show taught me so much...I wish I could articulate it, but I just can't. I found this show as I was crawling out of post-breakup pain, and it not only helped me ease my way out but inspired me. No characters or story lines will ever have my heart the way these do.

I had NO idea I was going to be this sad! Goodness. To those of you who are typing your last posts (I'm staying til the end, people!), take care and I hope our paths cross again sometime soon!

I honestly thought Luke's "take all the time you need" was him saying that they could take things slow. I don't think it was about waiting for Lorelai to make-up her mind. It was clear to me that L/L would always be together.

anway thank you all for the spoilers and leave breadcrumbs so when I have my computer back in its rightful place (at home) I can join in

but one more thing - I agree they are together in a boat somewhere

but I would have loved to see that ala cousins

and the end when she was wearing the necklance it was great

and the smile between them - very old gg - the entire ep felt like old gg but just different

SP and LG have the best chemistry on television

Well i've been saying good bye to people in the Sophie thread, and I decided to say good bye to some of you guys to I didn't always agree with some of you in the MT but you did make some intresting debates and I will miss that. Same here. Thinking of where we started and watching these best friends go through everything....it's amazing. And it might not be the payoff I wanted, but it is an amazing thought to know that after going though what would have destroyed most couples and all the pain, LL are together and in love. That moment where they both look at each other before they kiss, a silent acknowledgement of all they mean to each other.
