over all it was a good episode they could have given us more LL for me that wasn't enough, but what we did get i loved well thank you gilmore girls for the best 7 years of my life

So, I'm a little disappointed with the *last ten minutes* reunion, but it was definitely a sweet scene, and a great kiss. Other then that, so long LL spoilers.

I just think LL should've been together like 4 episodes ago...even though tonight's moment wouldn't have been the same...but yeah

Its sad... I dont know waht im gonna do with myself anymore.. Eventually all my shows i watch are gonna be dead and over..... Ive still got PB and Lost, But all my other shows are up in the air... No more GG what will i ever do... I mean i loved this show b/c i could relate to it.. unlike most others where they turn into stupid one be soaps Cough:OTH:Cough I gonna miss the realness to the show....

Just a couple of (final ?) thoughts:

L/L had more passion and more chemistry in the last ten minutes of this episode than they had in the whole last season they were together.

Given everything they've been through and put each other through, I think their ending hit just the right note. It's not perfectly sewn up, but it shows that they're definitely heading in the right direction.

It was a good wrap up for everything we loved - and had already got back, these last few episodes.

It did feel like a set-up for a Rory-light eighth season. R/E and Lorelai had a "nice moment". That's all. Richard acknowledged that Lorelai had made a home for Rory and herself, Emily kept interrupting - that will never go anywhere now.

And Luke and Lorelai of course - they reunited at 8.55pm. Is that a joke? 15 months of hell for 5 minutes of happiness.

Rory's send-off into the world was grand. Lorelai's will be forever unfinished. That's half the show. Yes, I'm pissed.

During the final scene when Lorelai and Rory are saying the menu looks delightful as if they've never seen it before, was anyone else reminded of 'Mimi' coming into the diner in Season 3? I was wondering if it was coincidence or meant to evoke a reminder of Lorelai's whole package and Luke's "You'll get it." I think I'm going to take it as deliberate, because IMO it adds a lot to the final LL moments.

I actually liked the R/E/L ending. I've never expected the series to end with the 3 of them in perfect sync, and I don't think I'd have bought it if they tried that. This seems real to me--they acknowledge what they mean to each other and that they want to be part of each other's lives, for better or worse. That's family, and it's what R/E/L didn't have in the years between L leaving the mansion and the start of the series.
