That's the thing. After more than a year of dealing with messy ethical situations, I'd like not to have a running debate with both sides of my conscience while watching the show. Of course, you're talking to someone who was ex-communicated from the RC Church for marrying a divorced man so I guess I'm still a bit sensitve when it comes these situations. Then again, it's obvious that Hollywood has a different set of standards so all this talk about the impropriety of a sexual relationship before the final divorce would probably make DSR guffaw.

I really enjoyed the divorce debate that we had. It even changed my feeling about how I want L/L relationship to move forward. I originally wanted them to be married by the end of the season but now, not so much. After reading everyone's opinions about how the divorce affects L/L, I would prefer them moving slowly. They want to be sure this time. Hopefully, they have learned from their mistakes. Moving along cautiously will make for better sl's. IMO

Well, I mean there's slow slow and then there's TV slow. I mean, if they're together together in 2 eps and there's no discernible time jump, I'll be a little put out, but, if they at least throw in a mention about how weeks/months of time have past, I'll be happy.

As for the whole divorce thing. Yeah, I can see them hanging out, dating, whatever, but I doubt Luke will sleep with her until the divorce is finalized. He's just that kind of guy.

Anyone here able to hear what Rory's says in the promo when she is sitting with Lorelai with a piece of paper in her hand? It's been bugging me and I can't for the love of me figure it out.

ETA: And.. when she is lying in bed saying she tanked a final. Do you think that is part of the dream?

She says "they're not hiring" in one of those scenes.

I don't think the final thing is a dream because Lorelai is wearing the dress that she wears into Luke's in the DC, and the dream is in the teaser.

And we`ve got a spoiler that Rory is wearing her old Chilton uniform in her dream, so "tanking" a final is in her real life ...but I still think she isn`t really tanking it..in words of Rory Gilmore tanking a final must be a B- or C or something

Very possible, I also think that would exlplain the somewhat weird title.
