Well poor Luke's being playing solo for the last year so if things happy I wouldn't blame either of them.

OT - The Party's Over is on here right now on free to air TV for the first time, I just realized I first saw it almost 30 months ago! That is just sad how long it has taken to come here!

I feel sorry for what some fans have to go through over the following eps, and not just the Luke and Lorelai ones.

I'd like them to just wait and sort some things out first. Like I don't think they should run upstairs to the apartment as soon as Rory's on her way to Iowa. They should take it slow at first, so maybe, if there's a season 8, we come back from the summer time skip, and the divorce is final and LL starting to go faster.

It's not wrong, I'd probably laugh, too. I just hope that LL first time sleeping together again isn't just because of some desperate need to make like bunnies because of how long they've had to wait for the divorce to finally be final.

IF L/L do take the summer trip together, I'm not sure how "slow" they'll be taking things. How could they go away together and still move slowly? Any ideas?

Sure, they wouldn't be able to go slow, but that would be ok. It's not like I want LL to not go forward for a specific, given about of time. If the potentially unfinalized divorce is ok with Luke, then it would be fine with me. If LL are sure to talk about things after they've fully gotten back into a relationship, fine. Actually, I think LL taking a summer trip together would be my favorite option. It would give them so much time to spend time, just them, figure things out, and be together and talk about things, as well.

Semi-on this topic: I'm so looking forward to all the fanfics this summer about however LL spend the summer. They'll be so much more fun to read than the post-partings ones.

HEE!

Thanks for the thread peachy

I don't want to see them come back and fully in a relationship. I want to see them starting out again.

I´m sick and tired of waiting.....hopefully we´ll hear something in 7.21 that this illegal marriage is done......

Danke for the thread.

If they don't mention anything HOW will we know it's final ? Because LC can be friends again ? Or because Lorelai kisses Luke ? Is that going to be our answer to yeah One Lorelai V. Gilmore is a divorcée ?
If this is the last season than how does that work ? If they drag it out till next season how does that compute with it's not going to be major storyline ? Hello if LL can't start anything for real because she is still married to I can't remember where to sign because the writers need to drag out the storyline how is that not a major thing ?

Why waste time going upstairs when there is a perfectly good counter there which can give you plenty of face time with the boss

They could ask Pacey and Joey.

Btw we were never really informed (on screen) when Luke/Nicole divorce was final, were we? I don't remember. That time around he and Lorelai went pretty fast. (And if it wasn't for Liz and TJ they would've probably gone faster).
IF we get another season they could use the final announce of CL divorce to create more drama though. How? I don't know. Maybe Chris will come back to SH to announce it lol

Well Luke signed the papers and sent them of, so we assumed it was over.

I still hope we get something but I can live without it.

In Afterboom (wasn't it?) we saw Luke go into the 'Mailboxes Etc' to finalise his devorce - remember the stamps and Kirk's balls?

I just don't see the need for Chris to hang around like a beaten dog. If they really intend to drag out the divorce and have him come back as another plot device in S8 then they really are not very creative as writers. One would hope that L/L have learned from this "journey" they were send on this season and not let things mess up again. I just don't see the need for Chris to come back unless they are making him refuse to sign the papers which just shows total lack of creativity in my opinion.

But whatever, L/L can be together. I don't care whether or not L/C are divorced when they start again.
