thanks for the tour report. I'd really like to know if all of the tour guides have some sort of pool going about the number of times they're going to be asked about S8 a week or day? I've gotta admit, I'd start playing games if I were one.

If I remember right, there were different tourguides (of the tours we were told of lately) who all were telling different kind of things wheter there is a season 8 or not.
And why should they (=the writers, producers etc.) tell the tourguides???? Ok, probably tourguides get the rumors quicker than somebody else, but they remain still rumors ... floatinmg around...nothing more. If HE(=the guide) believes it is official or not is of no interst to me.

Until there is not sth. officially announced against a Season 8 I`ll still believe in it. period.

Ok, I admit, I get a little stubborn here ... but I`m just not ready to let go until DR himself declares it over!

Our tour guide brought it up first. She took us to Stars Hollow and said it was sad because they were filming the last episode ever since it wasn't coming back in the fall. I asked if that was confirmed and she said it was. She seemed sure, and that's all I know.

A few little comments from a regular lurker...

- I've watched a couple of the early Season 6 episodes lately, and while they are still not my favorites, I liked them better than I remembered the first time. Maybe because I know how badly the rest of the season turns out.

- I've decided to not hold out for a Season 8 and be pleasantly surprised if we get one.

-SP in Saw 4...well, I hope he's getting a lot of money. Maybe since "Her Best Move" went straight to DVD he's trying for something he knows will get to the big screen.

You're right. It's even in our first post. I just thought the later posts sounded less decisive.
I don't think they'll be able to keep the official news much longer, in any case, not as long as the upfronts.

And Lorelai still has her Jeep? Maybe she didn't get a new car after all, and had Gypsy repair hers, or is near the high school the off scene car lot.

Well since tour guides started to announce it without even being asked i expect some news soon. One way or the other.

I had the same thought. Maybe Luke fixes it up and Lorelai sells it to Kirk! I mean, he bought Luke's boat. Maybe Lulu has a love of Jeeps too.

I just don't understand. If this really is the end, why are they not announcing it officially? They're leaving it up to the tour guides to say it's official. No offense to the tour gudes intended, but it just doesn't make any sense.

I could be that the rumors have gone around for so long that they have become "truth" when in fact it all just started as a rumor. I'm just guessing though.
