I don't know what episode L/L get back together in. But I know that the drunken karaoke is a step toward it.

Maybe Lorelai is drinking due to the realization she screwed things up big time with Luke and Rory is sad because of the letter she receives. Isn't there a spoiler that says she gets a letter that is bad news or disappointing career-wise or am I making that up?

ETA- I guess that means my spec that they kiss in 7.19 is probably wrong.

Thanks Sara. So we know they are not together in 720 or at the earliest in 720. Which means they will be together in 722. Sigh... I am sad now.

I think there is a difference between being immature and being slightly stupid. Thats not to say that there aren't dumb folks out there. I know plenty of dumb 30 somethings.

Well, I agree with you there, but I wasn't talking about being smart. I fall into this 18-25 age bracket myself. I'm talking more about the marketing campaign towards younger teens has become increasingly the same as campaigns toward older teens and even people in their 20s. The topics and themes conveyed to younger and younger kids are becoming increasingly mature IMO. But that's all I was talking about. And it's JMO through my own experiences.

I'm not a big fan of soaps just because they tend to not be done all that well. But there are definitely some shows that pull off a good soap opera style. I have nothing against that lol

About the Lorelai/Rory drowning their sorrows, I'm hoping it'll be more of a nostalgia thing. I'm just curious as to this job that Rory gets. Where is it and why does she have to fly off so quickly?

Well i will stick to my spec: after the fight they kiss but they are both confused and then in 7.20 after Lorelai sings they are officially back together. Overly optimistic i know.

I know how you feel Katie about having been in Luke's. It's such a surreal experience. I have to look at my pictures sometimes to believe that I was really there.

Television stations need to quit assuming that all teens are dumb. And maybe it would encourage more kids to try to get smarter if television shows weren't so inane. That's what I always loved about GG. In fact last night I was watching S1 with my sister and my 11 year old niece came downstairs and happened to catch part of when Rory is studying for something and she's all like, hey, I know what she's talking about. So and so gave me a book about that!

The CW needs a show more like GG or even like Supernatural, the show thats all over my sig and avi. They're both smart and they have character development. The characters have layers and you have the feeling you're getting to know them more and more every week. Both shows also don't think their viewers are stupid, they think they're smart.

I haven't any idea what I should believe at the moment. but I agree to akarana... as long as there nothing from official site I didn't give up my hope especially after this season...

I hope that they give us the announcement as soon as possible. if this be the last season I want it to know before 7x22 comes.

Scroll down and it says that Hidden Palms is airing May 30th.
I'm thinking they are going to show this during summer break and if it does good, then they will pick it up for a full season. So to me it seems like there still is some hope.

ETA: May 30th is a Wenesday.

Another step towards it in 720? And 721 is Rory's graduation - filming all week at USC, Luke might be there briefly but no spottings of SP. There were however sightings of Chris and Lorelai cheering "together". And MA talked about them going "together" (regardless of his stupid "dating" joke).

Maybe C/L have another deep meaningful talk. As if anyone wanted to see more of them resolving that relationship. Aaargh.

I'd say this puts the LL reunion in 722. Seriously. If anyone was still wondering.

I'm not afraid or mad that they move so slow. It's not really slow if you consider what they have been through. Since I'm still in for season 8 we have another season full of LL and their middle.
