But nonetheless, Good news from MA! Happy for a S8! Well half a season8. I just really hope, like many has said ,that they dont strecth it out over the whole year. With like 8 12 weeks hiatus'

I just read his site. Yeah, it looks like it might be good news afterall. And no bad vibes that Rory wouldn't be part of it. Actually no mention of bad news on the Rory side. So maybe they got Alexis to change her mind, by dangling the short season in front of them. But I guess we'll see. To me, extra money for several months of work. Able to have more money in your bank account. I would probably change my mind, if it was me.

I think it's will likely be 13. But I wouldn't be surprised if CW tried to get more.

Anyway, 13 is alot to finish it up. Get all the loose ends closed. And true closure.

But definately good vibes.

But you never know. It could change on a dime!

I don't even need a wedding, to be honest. A Four Weddings and a Funeral ending works for me. I want to see them living together in a commited relationship and creating their own family. Lorelai screwed up by thinking that a wedding would solve all their problems, so I'd like to see them take it slowly in getting married (ahem -- November sweeps) but know from the time they get back together that they are going to make it work.

Yeah, yeah...you are very right. I want all of that too. And I definitely do want solid resolution between Lorelai and Emily as well as between other characters.

But...the wedding is my dream. I can't help it

We should start a list of all the things we need to see in this possibly shortly confirmed shortened season eight, so we and the characters can get a satisfying closure. The list - just to remind TPTB that fans sometimes DO know best and it's worth listening to them once in a while.

Could be. It makes sense. They are very similar indeed and would definitely bond if they interacted more with each other. Luke no doubt sees their similarities and would want to encourage their relationship. He also knows that Rory would be a good mentor to her, somewhat like he knew she would be a good mentor to Jess when he asked her to help him out with his studies.

It's way past my bedtime (1:20 a.m.) so I'm off to get a few hours sleep. Later all!

Daisy, I'm all about another trip to WB. I get vacation time in August, I've just been waiting to hear about a S8. I'll still wait till it's completely official before I buy my ticket and pack my suitcase, but at least now it's a much bigger possibility.

-Luke/Emily fight or Emily witnesses a Luke Rant

It seems like Alexis might be on board, since he's said nothing about her not being so far. I hope she is! That would be perfect. More than that I really hope he's right and this s8 really happens. *crosses fingers really hard* A short season could leave Alexis free by December, with probably a nice paycheck, I'd probably take it if I was her.

I like your lists, genki and fuzzy.

I definitely need them cohabitating, even more than a wedding, and I'd like to see a pregnancy/kid.
Also, several FNDs at the mansion or CS (with Luke), and Lorelai getting more closure with her parents (without losing the wit and banter).
