I know, the voice sounds really familiar to me. Kind of like Eisley. The tune is very Eisley too. If I had my own computer I'd look it up. Grrr. Tomorrow. Hopefully.

Question: I'm excited to hear about the possible shortened eighth season of Gilmore Girls. Got anything new to report on that front?— Heather
Ausiello: At the show's wrap party Sunday night, everyone and their sister was talking about the short order as if it was a done deal. The only sticking point appears to be the number of episodes. I'm hearing 13, but I imagine the CW is trying to stretch that to at least 16. An official announcement is imminent.

Question: Can I ask you an honest question? Do you want Gilmore Girls to go on? Or do you think that they should end it this season?— Colleen
Ausiello: I'm torn. On the one hand, I think Rory's college graduation would be a perfect capper to these seven years. On the flip side, I'm not good with the goodbyes. Never have been, never will be. Now, if the show was in pitiful shape — along the lines of, say, the final season of Roseanne — maybe I'd be more eager to let it go. But I kinda sorta think our Girls have a little more life left in 'em. It could also be that I'm just on a high from last night's first-rate episode, which was easily the best of the season. Reminded me of the good ol' days.

Question: Do you know anything about the season/series finale of Gilmore Girls?— Jeremy
Ausiello: I know that the townsfolk throw Rory a massive graduation party since most of them couldn't get tix to the real ceremony. I also know that the final scene features three characters and, per one source, "brings the show full circle."

Great episode! Even Mr. Leonana watched it with me, and refrained from too many sarcastic comments, so it must have been good.

Loved Michel talking to Rory on the phone. No one but Michel could make train tracks into a gross slug comparison.

I also loved Luke's look as he first saw the bracelet, when April was turned away. His eyes were hilarious.

While I liked the L/L apologies, I was hoping for a little more from Lorelai as to why it was so easy to stop loving Luke and move on to Chris. Maybe next week?

I also noticed the Luke look-a-like. He was setting up the maze. Did it mean anything?

I liked the symbolism of Luke helping Lorelai out of her maze. I missed that, so I'm glad you guys are on the ball.

I really enjoyed R/L this week, and Logan's scenes with Lorelai. I thought they were well done and realistic. It makes what's going to happen kind of puzzling at this point.

Anyway, looking forward to next week!

ETA: Yeah! Season 8! 13 eps of L/L goodness (crossing my fingers).

Yeah! It has been a very pleasant read and the anticipation is building I guess. Makes me look harder and with more power to the number that says Speed above it ... it is kind of spooky that it actually seems to have an effect

And loving the news about the next (short) season getting more and more definite
