The CW: STARS HOLLOW THROWS RORY A GRADUATION PARTY / CNN JOURNALIST CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR MAKES A GUEST APPEARANCE — Just as Rory (Alexis Bledel) lands her dream job as a political reporter, Luke (Scott Patterson) enlists the help of everyone in Stars Hollow to throw her a graduation party. Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) attend the huge party, where Rory makes a speech thanking Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and the whole town for giving her such a great start in life. Luke’s thoughtfulness brings out an unexpected reaction from Lorelai (Lauren Graham). Finally, on the morning that Rory leaves Stars Hollow to start her career, Luke opens the diner before dawn to share a celebratory breakfast with the Gilmore girls. CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour makes a cameo appearance as a guest at the Dragonfly Inn. Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale and Sean Gunn also star.

The Futon Critic: Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) come to a new understanding, Stars Hollow throws a huge graduation party for Rory, and CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour guest stars in the episode titled "Bon Voyage."

I don't have sound, but they do a word bubble as LG is speaking and she says something about how it's like a couple just broke up and you're dealing with that and then suddenly someone asks if you and the person you broke up with is getting married. She says something about how the X-Files movie was done really well, but because they were still kind of "in it." And she's not sure there is a point for GG (I think is what she was meaning) right now.

Then there was another word bubble about how "aren't they happy I get to sit down and have dinner with Kelly and Ed?" or something..

ETA: "This is like when you break-up with someone and somebody says: "Do you think you guys are gonna get married?" It's just like I don't know. We just broke up you know. I really don't know. There have been people who do those things in a way that like I think the X-Files movie was really well done, but you know they weren't done. They were still in the thing. I don't know if there is a reason to go back."

Yep nothing much. Just what Mots said. He asked her about a possible GG movie written by ASP and answered as stated above.

He also said that there is a nice scene with Lorelai /Emily during Rory's graduation party. Nothing much and some stupid animations to "grieve" GG.

ETA and a "nice clip" to say farewell to the show for its 7 years and there is one pic of LL and the rest pics include him on the GG set

Wow so I've never watched a vodcast before but I am now more convinced than ever of his tool-ness.

Thanks for the vodcast, I don't know about a movie, maybe a TV one but how many would pay to watch GG on the big screen?If they did it would have to be the L&L wedding mixed with R&L getting back together and it would be best to do that for Nov sweeps, which I don't see happening!

Time to watch Lauren on Ellen and then off to bed, night all...

I am so sad that GG is ending. I haven't been here for a while now since I heard about the cancellation. I just couldn't let it go. I wasen't ready. I was so sad for a few days,
I still am but I think I have kind of "processed" it now.

I just wanted to thank everyone who brought stuff over here. Spoilers, promos, directors cut, clips - everything. Thank you so much.
I stumbled upon FF really late but I have enjoyed talking and analyzing here with you guys. I am going to miss that.

I am going to stick around until the finale but I just wanted to say thanks and that I am going to miss this place.

Thanks for the thread. So the movie info was just MA asking Lauren what she thought of the possibility. Sigh. I was hoping for some suggestion that TPTB, ASP, or DR were thinking about it. Didn't expect that was the case, but it would have been nice.

I'm sure LL don't spend Rory's last night in SH together, Just wouldn't be the Lorelai thing to do. But I hope that in the final diner scene we at least get a few LL looks, him touching her shoulder, etc. The focus is Lorelai and Rory, as it should be, but I want them to work LL as a couple into it.
