Well then SP won't be filming on the 16th since reports said filming on his movie begins in Toronto that day unless he can arrive a day or so later....

OH. MY. GOD!!! i was complaining for the last episodes of 24 but this one makes up for the whole season!!!

Such a big, Bon Voyage town send off for Rory - does that sound like she's going to be working in Providence, or even NYC? Those places are no more than 2-3 hours away, and it's not as if Rory's been living in SH throughout her college years, either. Maybe she is moving across the ocean, or country, after all.

I was wondering if maybe Rory is going overseas with CA. DR would be silly enough to make that happen somehow. She'll get some sort of internship working with CA while she's covering the war or something.

They could probably film the SP scenes(of GG) in advance. Or later.

Is it that Scott starts fliming for the movie that day, or just that the movie in general starts filming that day? It's not like SP would have to be there for all of the filming if he has a smaller part.

Or maybe they don't need him from the first day of filming at the movie. I don't know how things work.

Since AB is not so fond of doing another season I think we'll get a Rory light season 8 and they can achieve that by making her travel a lot or moving a bit farther away from the Hollow.

It would be sadder if all of the reruns for the last six weeks didn't contain DS. They really should have just paid him the royalties and rerun something else.

It's possible, I suppose, but didn't LG say in some interview that AB would have to be in each episode as it's always been. In addition, this solution would probably mean a heavier load for LG, and after seven tiring years, I don't think that's what she'd want at all. I myself would prefer if things didn't change regarding Rory and Lorelai time, but I think my desire for a season eight might outweigh that preference.

Since DR slowed down the progress on all the story lines, I have to think that he believes there will be a S8.
