ETA: Right he says it is not true that they were L/L scenes and to downplay the L/L romance. And it sounds like it was scenes.. plural. And it temporarily delayed production. Did lead to a more fulfilling episode. Who knows..

It sounded like she just didn't think the episode was emotional enough. I don't think that sounds good for a Season 8.

So let me get this right, it was not to downplay L&L and more emotion but is that for them or saying "Bon Voyage" to Rory?

It's hard to tell if that a good or bad sign for S8.

MA didn't say it wasn't about LL, but that it wasn't "just" about LL but about other characters as well, and they showed a pic of Emily, Lorelai and Rory from IRBIP, and then one of LL I think from SCPP.

LG wants something more in the way of Emmy material. More emotional is good, though, IMO.

Yeah that was what I was trying to say. lol. It was more a general request I think and that doesn't mean it wasn't a good thing IMO.

And Craig? Not funny! Heh.

MA is a muppet we all know that. That cursing thing? Still shaking my head in disbelief that he must think that was funny.

So she's gonna use the possible series finale as emmy bait? Geez. And it's not like she has any chance anyway, especially in the drama catagory.
