Oh yeah, it's painful to watch this whole ep. They just had Lorelai let Chris off for 23 years of being a crappy dad in like two minutes. I hate that. But at least they won't be dealing with Rory's quarter life crisis together anymore ().

I agree with you ,clmorrow.

Luke is my favorite thing about the show, but I found this pretty awful to watch- and I'm usually o.k. with shameless pandering to the fans. I hope upcoming episodes show Luke in a better storyline that brings him back to Lorelai without shoving all this previous ugliness under the rug. Hard to see how they'll get there if this is the last season.

I like shameless pandering when it gives us wet/shirtless luke...the rest of the episode doesn't exist imo. Plus thats what TV shows do--they pander. To expect any more would be expecting too much.

I long ago stopped believing tv could in anyway emulate art.

A little thing about the Logan info. Wrong thread, I know.. but oh well. How it happened was we were walking out of the Yale soundstage and there was a single white wall left standing and the guide said "This is the very last part of Logan's apartment because Logan is gone." I immediately said "Huh? Gone??" because frankly that surprised me a bit. The guide quickly turned to me with an innocent act and said something along the lines of "Huh? What? I didn't say that. All I know is that it's not a very good sign that his apartment is no longer standing. I'm thinking he's done."

Yesterday the guide told us that Logan's apartment was no longer around and he had no idea what was going on with Logan, but that it didn't look good, especially since his business had recently gone belly up.

Thanks Mots with the news of R&L split it make me now wonder will Logan be around in S8 or how much, will they just have Rory and Paris sharing an apartment?
