The thing is that the SNB triangle reminds me a lot of the BLP triangle on OTH and that just freaks me out *shudders* The horror! Which is why honestly (even though I ship Brooke and Lucas) Lucas has always loved Peyton and she came between his and Brooke's relationship. I see the same happening here. Whether or not you guys want to admit that Serena is Nate's "true love" she IS his dream girl. Remember the promo's?

So she's his fantasy and he will ALWAYS be fascinated by her and even though he might "love" Blair on some level (I don't think so but that's just me) he will NEVER be able to resist Serena and her attraction.

In the books I see the similarities but not on the show

But thankfully they changed the direction of the triangle

i don't think it's ever gonna be BSN like it was originally intended...

i think if we have a triangle it's gonna be DSN, and that one can't be so disastrous right?

It is visible on the show, for me atleast. There were quite a lot of hints.
Honestly, DSN can be quite brutal too

I agree that SNB is a lot like BLP but there are some key differences. For instance Nate started off as Blair's boyfriend but he developed feelings for Serena. Lucas started off having feelings for Peyton and Brooke jumped into a relationship with him. So while Lucas and Peyton messed up by cheating, by that default the triangles are not the same. Plus I do not see any evidence showing that Serena was Nate's dream girl or 'true love'

yah ive never seen nething supporting NS, only NB imo. CB and DS are the OTPS and endgame couples imo though. I guess its up to interpertation

yup plus if B was involved in the triangle EVERYONE would be involved...

cuz then it would be BCNSD... and maybe even V...

i think DSN is the safest triangle, not as messy, not as hurtful to friendships, and just the cleanest triangle we could have...

I'm not saying that Serena is Nate's 'true love' Nnenna because we haven't gotten any evidence of that but she is his dream girl. The original Nate promo said "Torn between the girl of his dreams (Serena) and the love of his life (Blair)". Like there were people who believed that Nate loves Blair, some people believed that Serena is his dream girl.
