Oh, I thought Chuck did man up in 2.08 and tell Blair they weren't ready, which they weren't. If Dan could manipulate the situation so easily, it was because it shouldn't have been happening then. So, yeah, that's on Chuck, but that's not the part that angered me.

i guess to each tehir own. 208 was not a stellar moment for dan imo but it also is the main reason why i hate the dv friendship. i feel she drags him down and keeps him in a judgemental place just when he is opening up his mind. V can be very judgemental and manipulative and she knows exaclty how to work dan.

Exactly Jerry. CB are so passionate about each other, whether it's love, or whether it's anger and hate, they always want each other. They can fight it and they can try to lose themselves in other people and it will never work, because what CB have can't be found anywhere else. I don't think Blair has ever loved, like she loves Chuck, and I know Chuck hasn't. That's why when people said last season that Blair was putting herself out there too much, I understood. Because Blair was so desperate to be with him, that she saw passed the harsh words, and brush offs. She knew what he was feeling even if he couldn't say it back. I mean anyone that looked into Chuck's eyes knew he loved her back just as much.

Was he doing it because of Vanessa - YES.

IMO if Vanessa told everything, Dan wouldn't have messed with CB.
