Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. This means that, if the Spoilers Board Moderators have to come in with four official warnings about any issue whatsoever, within 24 hours or so, then that particular thread will be temporarily closed. Per Ausiello, Hilary Duff joining for a multi episode arc. Playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who wants a normal college experience and rooms with Vanessa.
From E!:]Inside sources tell us exclusively that Duff's character Olivia is a movie star who just wants to live a simple peasant girl's life at college and date a simple unfamous guy. Lucky for her then that Dan doesn't know who she is and that he wants to hook up with her. Yep, not only are Dan and Serena all permanently broken up, but Dan is stepping out on Serena with this new girl Olivia.

According to Korbi:

- CB is top priority for season 3.

I don't think the chemistry that CB have could ever be recreated, but I do see similarities between the two couples, and I'm extremely excited for Ca/S.

TBH, I don't even see any similarities between the two couples.

And I doubt Carter is going to here long enough for there to be anywhere near as epic as CB.

okay other than wild spec do we have confirmation he's around for more than the premiere?

I don't mind the idea of Carter/Serena. It sounds intriguing. I also love the idea of DS as friends with a little tension on the side. Thats the stuff that makes a couple epic imo. Sexual tension is the best.

Yeah, I don't see Ca&S as CB copy at all, besides that they both have chemistry and they are hot!

I see similarties in the fact that Carter is alot like Chuck, heck he was his mentor when him and Nate were younger. I see it in the fact that Carter's an ass to pretty much everyone except Serena. In little things like that.

That's just me though, and of course I don't think they are gonna be as epic as CB are, not even close.

I'm pretty sure there was a spoiler that said Serena would be with a "prince" for a few eps (I think? I can't find it in the OP, but I'm probably missing something). Signs right now are pointing to Carter.

ETA: I could be making the few eps part up. I'm not sure.

I still think that Ca/S so far is limited to the first few episodes

eta: Bridget, I saw that spoiler. It makes sense i was thinking 301-303 because imo they'll be playing up tension in the ds connection. They're trying to be friends and whatever weird family scenario they got going on but there is also this other je ne sai quoi thing being brought to the surface due to carter/serena and then later on olivia/dan.

people are talking like he is a regular and that we have a spoiler about ca/s happening for a good half of the year. But, time will tell. I like the carter character and if i have to watch S with anybody (although I don't think seh should be dating. she needs a dating hiatus right now), I would rather it be carter.
