Exactly, I think that's why I like the OC better or at least it has a special place in my heart. I was in high school, it was a big phenomenon between my friends and I, my boyfriend watched it with me... it was just everywhere.

With GG sometimes I feel like the odd one out and I can't really discuss my obssession with anyone other than you guys.

And I'm VERY bias towards the OC music and the beautiful california setting.

Whenever I hear the song "California here I come..." it has such an impact on me... I don't think the "Where will she be, Serena, xoxo" will have the same nostalgic feel.

HA! i hear ya.. that is why I come here!! they all know about my GG obsession too... I always get emails about spoilers etc that I am like " that was sooo last week" well in my head i say that..

hahaha i still feel so bad about tricking my gay friend into watching GG w the Chuch kissing a guy thing. I know GG, and i knew the kiss was gonna be... well nothing... lol but that's how i got him to watch

he was like... wut

that was it

but he liked the rest of the epi, so i considered it mission accomplished

I've never really understood the fuzz about The O.C, it wasn't a show that was interested in before season 4.

I was totally set on OTH, when it good, and I couldn't understand how The O.C was more in centrum than OTH. GG and The O.C are too very different shows but GG is very popular too.

I just want spoilers.

i could never get into OTH

idk why, i bought the first season, and tried watching the rest of it online, but it just wouldn't get my attention, yet the few ppl i had watching the S1 dvd w me, are mega obsessed w it now

OTH is a guilty pleasure, but there's nothing that appealing about the show. It's just a new version of Dawson's Creek.

Plus, all that backstage drama, I have no respect for any of those actors really.

I got into OTH after OC was cancelled and I did get into it. It took a while, but it did suck me in. Specially BL and the beggining of NH.

I think what was "different" about OC was that it was a REALLY funny show. I mean, it WAS very funny and witty. Seth Cohen was just... really great. It was the comedy with the drama that made it appealing to me.

I don't find myself laughing with GG apart from when DN have their moments.

i have respect for all of those actors, well maybe not so much Chad even though i don't know the whole Chad/Sophia story

but i love Sophia, Hillary, James, that hott guy who plays Clay now hahaha, i totally watch Clay vids on YT even if i don't watch OTh

I'm much more proud of the GG cast, they do such a good job keeping their drama ON screen. I must say, our cast PWNS everyone else.

That's probably GG's BIGGEST strenght. The incredible cast.

The only notable talents in OC was Seth and Sandy... IMO.

Yeah, I LOVE our cast SO much! Everyone! And the fanbases are really fair with the actors too. The whole Sophia or Chad hate on OTH was SO intense.
