I think it could be Chuck because it could be the easiest way for him see Bart ala coma dream.

But, I would prefer it to be Blair. I mean obviously nothing serious, but I think if Blair were to get in a car accident right around the time Bart died in a car accident, it would affect Chuck the most.

I want it to be Blair that gets in a accident. Like maybe she's meeting Chuck over at the hotel or something and something happens. And then Chuck can be worried and blame himself and Bart can come and try to help Chuck to not blame himself.

I think it would affect him the most but I doubt that will happen actually. Blair having an accident around the time his dad died, would be, come to think about it a bit too much for my taste.

I would actually rather it be a flashback more than anything. Although I really, really hope they're going to actually bring up Blair's ED, I think having her suddenly hospitalized is a bit dramatic and probably will lean toward being cheesy (unfortunately). And this same time last year, Chuck was in awful condition - drugs, attempted attempted suicide, etc. I'd rather not have his life be in danger 2 years in a row. Especially because it's patently obvious both times that he is not going anywhere.

Unless it's something like Eleanor dropping a ham on his head and giving him a concussion. that I could work with

I want it to be Chuck just because it would be the perfect way for them to bring in the Bart storyline and because well...he's my favorite character so I want him in the spotlight and I do not want him to have to deal with Blair being in an accident a year after his dad was.

I agree with this. For DB one or both would have to flip their personalities entirely to work. It plainly would not make sense. If anyone thinks they're going to change Blair's character drastically- I don't see that ever happening just as I don't see Dan putting up with what Blair does. Chuck likes Blair's devious, bitchy behavior which is why it works for them.

And the accident- I think it would have to be Chuck if he's seeing Bart.

I genuinely love almost every aspect of the show, but I would quit watching if DB happened. I honestly believe it would be massacring both characters, and be so disrespectful to Serena and the SB friendship. It wouldn't even be CB that upset me - because I know they'd still get back together after DB was over (unless the writers did something to make everyone tire of CB, and wrote DB very well). Yup! I wouldn't even be worried about CB because they can get through anything in their way BUT. I would not be able to take watching Blair date her supposed BFF's ex who is now her brother or whatever and Dan dating her would be BEYOND WEIRD. Like weirder than Dan and Rachel being married on OTH weird.

I don't think that seems very logical tbh.

If Blair is in an accident then she is likely going to be in a coma for the whole episode, which would NEVER happen unless it's a whole episode dedicated to her classic flick dreams. In which case the episode wouldn't logically involve ghost-Bart or be named Debarted.

yeah honestly that's how I feel about both Chuck and Blair. I AU ship Blair with a ridiculous amount of people, but I don't want to see it on the show - on the show it's been made clear that, at this point, Chuck and Blair are IT for each other. I couldn't take either of them seriously if after all of this they just rushed into new relationships all I LOVE YOU! IT TOOK ME A YEAR TO SAY IT IN MY LAST RELATIONSHIP, BUT YOU ARE MORE SPECIAL THAN CHUCK/BLAIR AND THUS I CAN SAY IT TO YOU EASILY! They've just made the drama with CB WAY too complex to give them new relationships without building up heavily to them. Which GG generally does not do very well - long build up, I mean.

Plus, IMO, there is no one else on the cast right now that Chuck or Blair could be paired with without upsetting a friendship, which I find more sacred than relationships, frankly, so I don't want to see that happen. And I will never, ever wish for more guest stars brought on for the sole purpose of being in relationships, OLIVIA.

I mean, it's called "Home," but that's all I know. It should be on the GG music thread.

And, word, Lydia. Neither Blair not Chuck have anyone to hook up with that wouldn't ruin a friendship.
Plus, solely based on Chuck's other options, there's NO way they'll destroy CB. He would literally only have Vanessa left, and there are maybe 3 people who would want to see that.
