and yeah I really think having it be Chuck affects the most people, plus the whole Bart thing makes the most sense with him.

I just wonder if it's going to be a theme with It's a Wonderful Life or a Christmas Carol theme. I would go for either- it's fun when they do that sort of thing.

Like we've said before, chemistry is in the eye of the beholder, a bunch of us see the EL chem and some don't.

me too, I know to some its cheesey, but I like it Its like a fun stand alone for the holidays, sometimes it weaves in to bigger plots but it doesnt necessarily have to. Plus it has the possibility of some great things.

DB would turn more fans away than help. I think it's hilarious that people think NB fans would love DB...uh, if you ship NB why would you want DB wouldn't you just want NB? Unless, like some NB/DBers you just hate Chuck so you'll throw Blair with anyone. Always a weird concept for me.

Bottom line- the media, most of the audience, and the producers want CB. The reason there was such an uproar and SS had to say CB was happening was because of the backlash of not getting CB and the crap that happened in 2.20. DB won't bring more viewers, it will lose more viewers as well as what couple the media and critics continue to praise- CB. They want praise right now, not a couple that won't get any.
DB doesn't bring anything. The chemistry between EL has yet to be outshined by any other pairing which is why they were #3 in EW's most entertaining people of the year. DB would be nothing but a lost cause all the way around, especially since most of this thread has said they would quit the show.

If GG wants viewers to quit- they'll do DB
