Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. With election day around the corner, Nate (Chace Crawford) suspects his grandfather (guest star James Naughton) will stop at nothing to get Trip (guest star Aaron Tveit) elected to congress. - There are no current plans to bring back Carter
- An NS pairing is very likely this season.

What I don't get is when people are like 'well most people that ship DB hate Chuck'. I mean..okay? They dislike Chuck, but like both Blair and Dan and thus want them together - what's wrong with that? I just don't get the dismissal of fans of AU ships because their fans dislike a character in a canon pairing. I'm pretty sure that's the entire point. It's no different, tbh, than liking CB and disliking Dan. Chemistry is pretty much always subjective.

Well I'm sorry for upsetting people. But when someone tells me they hate Chuck and Blair needs someone better like Dan or Nate, that's mostly telling me they want anyone for her but Chuck. I didn't say it was wrong but it's true though

nothing wrong with that, any one is free to ship whoever they like.
It is just that it cracks me up that the very same people complain that the show is all about couples, they sacrifice characters for plots or random OMFG hook ups that create drama and that the show is inconsistent.

How does that not contradict looking for a DB hook up lol
