Thanks Chrissie. It's official; Rory Gilmore has no dick. Yes, that's a Ghostbusters reference. This is such bull****, that I am going to go kick a stuffed cat. Not a stuffed cat but like a plush cat...Lorelai is such joke. Her daughter is a joke. This promo is a ****ing joke. Seriously, she's going to break his heart because she was raised by a controlling of a mother.

omg....my heart is completly broken. Logan was so nervous yet excited in that final scene. I am glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the tears in his eyes. He loves Rory...DR DON'T YOU GET THAT!!! I really didn't like Lorelai's commotose look at the end...there was a point that I felt she knew it was coming and then she looked shocked....but god poor logan that boy loves her.......if this plays out like we think its going to...i want an explantaion from DR!!!!

Da*** it!

I'm going to need someone to make me mac and cheese, with a sidehelping of a whole lot of shots to pick me up after they wreck a perfectly awesome pairing, of which they had that rare chemistry few TV couples have.

I keep going from being depressed about what's coming, having a small sliver of hope that DR and the writing staff aren't that stupid and have some sort of miracle surprise for us, and wanting to throttle DR and the writing staff for wrecking this and taking all the fun out of show for me.

If I wasn't spoiled I would be squee-ing my heart out right now. When Logan was talking to Rory "Things will look up real soon, I'm sure of it." My heart broke for him. I just feel so bad knowing what's coming...

Of course Lorelai was in shock. She's losing her BESTEST-BUDDY IN THE WHOLE WORLD! Oy...this is total and utter balls. If Lorelai was not so dependent on her 22 year-old daughter. Maybe this busta-brown of a character could handle her daughter moving away. Nevertheless, Logan really needs to tell Rory to **** OFF. I love this character and I am a big fan of Matt, but Logan deserves better than he's getting from this simpleton writing team.

Probably Logan's only faux-pas is proposing in front of everyone. That being said, I don't see how that warrants the rejection. Even worse, I don't get how one can go from being totally in love to breaking up rather than saying that they'll get engaged but have a long engagement... Breaking up seems like such a non-option that I can't even believe that they're using it. It just makes no sense to me.

i dont even see whats wrong with that. its not like its never been done before, or some horrible unheard of thing

maybe he realizes how god damn attached that girl is to her mother and decided that her mother (&everyone else) should be apart of it too

Here's my thing about Logan proposing in front of everyone. Do I think it's out of character for him? Not necessarily. I think it's out of character to him to be proposing to Rory, a woman he knows very well, in front of everyone. He knows she's not the kind of girl to make a life-changing decision right away. He has to know that there's a chance she wouldn't say yes right away and would need a few pro/con lists. He KNOWS her. So why would he do this in front of everyone?

i would assume logan believed that rory loved him enough that she wouldnt have to make a pro-con list, and wouldnt have a problem with the fact that her family/friends were their to witness it. [not that logan proposing in front of her friends/family is enough of a reason to say no]

Apparently, so that the writers could break them up by virtue of Rory having a freakout, given that they had already demostrated that distance (7.05 and 7.08), other people (7.14) and work opportunities (7.18) were not gonna do it.

BTW, I thought that most, if not all, of the reports from the "observers" of the proposal "scenes" had stated that Logan dropped to one knee when he asked Rory to marry... I saw no knee-dropping on the promo clip, however. Hence the Myth of the "multiple filmed versions" still lives.

i agree.

in my opinion, i don't see how much of a difference it is if it was a publi proposal or not. but i can see how some can see it as a bad thing. in this case, i don't think it should be taken as a factor to say no. logan was probably so sure that she would say yes, and pleased that he got lorelai's blessing. from the way lorelai was surprised that he was doing it then, im assuming she did say ok and perhaps they discussed how he was going to do it. but they were celebrating her graduation. maybe he wanted to add another thing to celebrate. her parents and grandparents were there. perhaps he wanted to share it with everyone. logan is a guy who is used to grand gestures and whatnot, so he probably doesn't see anything wrong with proposing in front of all those people. i hope that they don't try and make him proposing in front of all those people into such a big, bad thing.
