she may find out just how much she misses those emotional responsibilities.
And I hope she will crawl on her knees to get him back ...

I'll concur with this once either we find out that season 8 is a no go, after all, or that Matt ain't gonna be part of it.

I'm beginning to think we'll gonna find out if 7.22 is a season or series finale when the Evil Promo Announcer Guy says in the 7.22 promo: "next week, in the (series/season) finale of GG..."

Right, that's what the fans deserve ... to know about the fate of their beloved show through a EPA ...

Nah. She'll see Logan...love...as the "gamble" (because they're too young, can't base such impt decisions on college bfs, Parisblahblahblah...).

For the record, I loved Paris in this epi, as I did Rory (I like her when she's being serious and sensible and plays off of Paris).

I wondered why they even bothered to put Olivia and Lucy in the episode...

It will be so much fun. It is funny, when they were first introduced, I hated Lucy more. Now, I think they have toned her down, and I would take her over Olivia, who is just...there.

Which could have just as easily been mentioned. (By Rory--which she did.)

They're like these extra appendages one doesn't quite know what to do with...I have absolutely no empathy for either of these characters. Boo to DR for not fleshing them out of course, what a waste.

seriously, they give these "odd appendages" screen time, when they could've just been mentioned...but given the opportunity to have Colin and Finn back, they just mention them

I can only assume that this mean O and L will play a bit larger role in Rory's life in s8 (if there is one) and maybe THEY will be the ones to come around and give her the sift kick in the arse! (a la Good Will Hunting)....

who knows at this point? I am seriously loosing sleep over this...LOL...I mean last night, all the scenarios just kept playing in my head

Also someone mentioned on another thread that they may try to make Logan out to be the bad guy...that he gets the SF job and figures since she has "nothing to lose", he doesn't have to figure her in, he goes back on that and wants her to follow him---I really hope this is WAY off. Logan doesn't deserve this...not that DSR seems to care

Should this be his motivation for proposing, that doesn't make him a bad guy. He may have been thinking that they could be together while she works out her options, that they can help/support each other. If the roles were reversed--Rory with a job, Logan without--Logan would have followed or seriously considered being with Rory ("If you're in Providence, maybe I'll come live in Providence"). He may have been thinking that Rory would do the same.

Now if Rory DID have job prospects and Logan tells her to drop everything and marry him, then that is making him out to be the bad guy. I hope they don't do this. There are enough reasons that have been laid out for Rory to reject him in this episode, without making Logan turn out that way.

that's exactly what I am thinking ... he would do this for her in a wink and I think he assumed that she will do the same ... but Logan, my dear, she is a GG ...

I hope Rory is the one that initiates getting him back if there is a S8 and he is in it. Plus I don't want him to take her back right away let her struggle for letting a good thing go away. Sandy would definetly say I told you So I really should have listened to her.

It doesn't matter if people doesn't care about Olivia and Lucy. They were created by David Rosenthal. They are his "babies" in the show. Didn't you ever read how new writers sometimes like to stamp their "touch" in old shows? He didn't have trouble writing off the entire YDN staff or trashing Colin and Finn without even showing them, because they are not his characters. But Olivia and Lucy apparently will stay with the show.

For 7.21 specifically, it's not about whether she's ready or not ready to get married but the fact that they had to couple Rory's graduation episode with this whole marriage proposal rejection.

I can't even be happy for Rory that she is graduating from Yale. If they had her say yes, even talk to Logan saying she's not ready and them stay together, or it not happening at all, I could be okay with this episode, but I'm not for the fact that the focus can't all be on the fact that Rory's graduating. That alone, whether Rory and Logan get back together in the future, I can't forgive DSR for ruining Rory's graduation.
