So now if, for whatever reason, Rory thinks she is better without Logan after he propose, I, for one, don't blame him for not waste his time fighting again for her. It's her turn to do something for her love for once.
I totally agree

You know what I hate--It seems like ever since that first break-up they had over the Jess incidient, Rory has taken Logan for granted. His accident gave her a wake up call, but after that she returned to just expecting Logan to be the wonderful boyfriend that he was.

I miss the early days of R/L when she was the one who pushed their relationship forward. She initiated their casual relationship (when Logan probably wouldn't have), she gave him what was, in essence, an ultimatum that resulted in them becoming exclusive and she was the first one to say "I love you." Now it seems like Logan is the only one pushing forward and Rory isn't rising to the challenge like Logan did. I think if they would stay true to character, she'd be in for another huge wake up call after the proposal/break up. Of course, I don't think that's how it will play out, but that's what should happen, IMO.

That's a really great point ... I think you should call DR and tell him that ...

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I just saw on imdb that Katie Walder is listed as Janet for Unto the Breach. I think it's interesting that they're bringing back others in Rory's year from past seasons for the graduation.

Thanks for that information Katie, it makes sense that if you see Rory's old roommates again it would be at graduation.

STARS HOLLOW THROWS RORY A GRADUATION PARTY / CNN JOURNALIST CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR MAKES A GUEST APPEARANCE — Just as Rory (Alexis Bledel) lands her dream job as a political reporter, Luke (Scott Patterson) enlists the help of everyone in Stars Hollow to throw her a graduation party. Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) attend the huge party, where Rory makes a speech thanking Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and the whole town for giving her such a great start in life. Luke’s thoughtfulness brings out an unexpected reaction from Lorelai (Lauren Graham). Finally, on the morning that Rory leaves Stars Hollow to start her career, Luke opens the diner before dawn to share a celebratory breakfast with the Gilmore girls. CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour makes a cameo appearance as a guest at the Dragonfly Inn. Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale and Sean Gunn also star. Lee Shallat Chemel directed the episode written by David Rosenthal

It's probably just part of her freaking out all episode about her future and what's going to happen to her. Her feeling like a failure is manifesting itself in her dreams. yay...

I miss season 5 RL too. But I'm not sure if Rory took Logan for granted. During all this season, from their sex text messages until Logan's birthday, Rory had been shown as wanting to make things work between them. She was touched by his attention in 7.13.

Her suddenly disinterest in their relationship is all on DR, who wanted to break them up for whatever reason.

Rory probably feels like a complete failure after the NYT rejection. So she fails out of Chilton in the dream.

In contrast, in the same episode, Logan comes back from SF probably with a job. Then she probably will feel even worse.

What a soap opera...

The podcast

http://www.tvguide.com/TVGOL/Images/...427TVGTalk.mp3

It start at 31:20

They liked Paris and that Rory got rejected. Matt started to talk about the break up but the others went back ot talk about the episodes.
MA doesn't know but still think the eight season is on for at least 13 episodes.
