Geez. Yet another slap in the face of the R/L shippers, I guess.

If Rory's upset about this all, Lorelai would try to be there for her, and maybe they'll talk about it on the carriage since the horses are pretty and Rory's apartment is so far away. Especially if Lorelai actually knows about the proposal before hand, she'll probably come up to Rory expecting her to have said yes. They'd need a place to talk about what just happened. I could see it working if it's played right (not that I'm getting my hopes up for something in GG season 7 to turn out in a way we'd remotely like).

Katie, I have absolutely no idea how to respond to this post. Seriously, I wish that I could be such a mark of a character, because I would love to know where this perspective comes from. You have blown my mind. Huzah.

Well, it looks like the scene will be as devastating and humilliating for Logan as I predicted.

Geez. Who wrote this ep? The Kill the Sophie Ship Committee? Or perhaps The We Hate Logan Society?

THANKS DAVID S ROSENTHAL!...
Poor girl...

Well he did end his marriage to pursue another married woman who din't care about him. Wasn't this one of the issues that the whole press had with him taking over a show about women at the beginning of this season?

Anyway, since one of the podcasters from tvguide said that was established that he is crazy...nothing would make more sense than an insane ending for the show.

-----

Thanks for bring that, Liane. I will supporte any mandate for season 8 if it includes the request of Matt Czuchry as a regular for at least 18/19 episodes like in seasons 5 and 6. And in each episode I want him for more than five minutes. No more cheating from the writers like pathetics two seconds apparitions like in 7.04.

David's not crazy or anything. Laura pegged him. He is writing a show where parental love and the love of a kid, heals all wounds. While I think that's a real positive thing for a showrunner to put into a show. This show has gone past that for years. You would also think that he would use it for Emily and Lorelai. Who really need moments such as this to heal old wounds. Nevertheless, the carriage ride, is ridiculously disgusting. A romantic carriage ride between mother and daughter is just gross. May those pictures feature Kim and Lauren riding around in the carriage not Rory and Lorelai.

And Logan seems to be saying "I know...me too" at one point. It is really depressing...

There should/must be a better ending than this.

And he has to be in the finale too.

Then don't respond. I'm just trying to speculate on things that have to do with Rory and Logan's SL here in the thread that we're supposed to do that in. I have been trying to speculate about things that are coming up with them, but as always, I'm not totally in the same mindset as most posters on this thread, so I'm sure you'll disagree with me anyways. To me, it just seems like something Lorelai and Rory would do, I didn't say it was right, I even said it'll most likely come off as being something cold and wrong.

The Rory and Lorelai in the carriage is the worst spoiler yet. Rory tears Logan's heart out and then proceeds to ride off in the sunset with her mother in the carriage that he probably paid for.

Honestly, I'm finding the spoilers coming out of 7.21 so utterly incomprehensible, mean and cruel, that I'm not even bitter or upset anymore; I'm finding the whole thing almost risible and unintentionally hilarious...

I'm almost (but not quite) tempted to conclude that there must be something missing in this picture. I dunno.
