Not necessarily. I didn't have tickets at my grad and all my friends were there. But anyway, it doesn't really matter. Luke aside, this episode will feature two things that make me want to choke on my own vomit:
1. R/L breaking up for no good reason
2. Chris existing

For these reasons, I'll be skipping the ep.

On another topic, I wonder if LG's reservations about the script only involve her storyline or Rory's as well? I guess we'll never know.

Thanks for the new thread and title.

There are even pics of Emily, Richard and Lorelai. There might be a small "new" spoiler - it seams Rory & Lorelai ride in the horse carriage. Everything else has already been said, I think.

A friend of this poster who was also there during filming, also made an Images of USC filming. in her own blog (but that has much less info and pics).

After seeing all this I'm angry and upset all over again. I should have stayed away.

You mean this talk about LG asking some rewriting in the script for the season/series finale? I think LG's reservations could involve every other storyline/character, since her character (Lorelai) will probably share scenes/storylines with almost everyone in the episode.

But if I recall, the first time we read/heard about LG having a say in scripts came from Ausiello in the beginning of this season. To me, more than anything, this only shows how different DR and ASP deal with the show.

Thanks Iolite. Argghhh, it seems I have no self-control because I ended up watching those ill-fated clips anyway even though I knew it would be excruciatingly painful. I wish I knew what Logan was saying... he seemed desperate in some of them.

The carriage thing confuses me a whole lot. Why would there be a romantic carriage if it has nothing to do with the proposal? Is Rory really so cold that she could ride in a carriage with her mother after turning down the proposal it was part of? I can't form a logical spec...

I'm no Lorelai-hater, but if Rory ends up riding the carriage with Lorelai rather than Logan (if it was originally meant for Logan and Rory) then...that doesn't sit well with me at all. I think that makes the point that lots of people have been saying of late: it is Lorelai that Rory needs to individuate from, but it seems she and her mother are not ready for that quite yet. That the series will end with everything STILL and JUST being about Rory and Lorelai.

Rory will dump Logan (her boyfriend for more than two years) after he proposes her and then go ride in a white carriege with her mom?!!! Isn't that cute?

Exactly, Liane. David Rosenthal is cornering Rory and Lorelai back to that teaser from A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving, where both were watching two lonely women who only have one another and ended up fighting. That was the episode where ASP made Rory announce that she was applying for Yale, something that Lorelai didn't want as a sign that those two needed to individuate.

Being best friends doesn't equal to be siamese twins. And even siamese twins need to be separated in order to survive.

Do we know for sure that the carriage is Logan's doing? It's always seemed too cheesy to be from him. His gifts/gestures are usually more thoughtful. Could it be some kind of grad present from someone else?

Ugh. I don't know why I'm trying to make sense of anything involving this show.

It does seem a bit cold. If it's the same night as the proposal, it would seem to me like after she turns Logan down, Lorelai's still around and they take a ride. If Rory's upset about this all, Lorelai would try to be there for her, and maybe they'll talk about it on the carriage since the horses are pretty and Rory's apartment is so far away. Especially if Lorelai actually knows about the proposal before hand, she'll probably come up to Rory expecting her to have said yes. They'd need a place to talk about what just happened. I could see it working if it's played right (not that I'm getting my hopes up for something in GG season 7 to turn out in a way we'd remotely like).

I just don't know why on earth someone else would get her a carriage ride. The only logical explanation I can come up with is that it's part of the proposal.

Katie, if Logan had anything to do with the carriage, there is no way they can play Rory and Lorelai riding in it post breakup that will be at all ok with me. Just...no.

Even if the carriage is not from Logan. After three seasons watching the couple growing together, "deepening and intensifying" as Mr Rosenthal said in more than one interview, still is a slap in our faces.
