No matter how much Christopher may not have been there for Rory as she was growing up, she still loves him. It’s her graduation and she will want the people that she loves to be there. It has nothing to do with Christopher paying for her education or the state of his marriage to her mother, it’s all about her love for him as her father.

Christopher and Lorelai are Rory’s parents so naturally she would want them to be there on her big day, divorced or not. I doubt that Lorelai invites Christopher. I believe that Rory invites Christopher just like she invites Luke.

A similar thing happend with Lorelai. Even though she was not on the best of terms with her parents and didn’t invite them to her graduation, she was still happy that they came and wanted a photo with them taken.

I don't get it. Oh wait...is it because I was ranting about how the other Rory Ex-bfs are lucky they're off this show and the actors are succeeding elsewhere? Gah. Oh, and I like Logan. I really do. I just don't love him as much as you guys. Still I wish him better than a storyline in which he's dumped after proposing.

Perhaps Rory ISN'T good enough for him. He really should find someone who will appreciate him more.

I had a dream about R/L last night, that ties into the recent spoilers and this season. So many of you guys have said how this season has showed R/L's relationship in such a positive light, how they were moving forward romantically and how out of the blue this rejection is.

Re-watching the episodes of this season, I'd notice 'hints' that I didn't notice before signalling that Rory didn't love Logan enough for a future with him...But obviously, these 'rewatches' weren't what actually happened in the episodes we saw, thank goodness. And it painted Rory in the really terrible light. Examples... It was episode 7.05 (in my dream), and Logan was leaving to go back to London...they share a long goodbye because Rory can't stop giving him a last kiss goodbye, and neither can he...very cute and loving. Logan says something about the future (hinting he is ready for marriage) and Rory, instead of responding, sucks his face to avoid the topic. Then Logan says "I love you Rory" and Rory says... "I'm in love with you, I think" Logan gets pissed..."You think you love me?" Rory tries to defend herself...and he leaves.

And apparently, in my dream every 'cliffhanger' prior to a hiatus signalled Rory and Logan on a shakey ground. So weird. It's only 7.17 that left a bad taste in my mouth Rory/Logan wise (I sensed hostility in the last R/L scene from Rory).

I'm so glad my imagination is wrong. I can see that the pessimism from this upcoming storyline has obviously seeped into my subconscious

And I feel for you guys who are upset with how the writers have taken this storyline. It’s cruel and very sad.

I've explained myself and it was nothing against Logan, I hate this is happening to him but more importantly happening to them as a couple. We don't know the why yet and I was just asking where is Logan and how much will he be in ep 21?

Don't tell me about bashing, I've seen some of the posts about Luke here and I have never bashed Logan here or on the other thread. As for Lorelai she was screwed up by events last season and they were both idiots and I'm one of L&L biggest supporters, she screwed up he life over the last year and Luke was not much better in S6!

Oh and the horse thing was a joke and I was not trying to be mean.

And since this is the R&L thread I just find it interesting that apart from the proposal scene (or what ever it was) we have not seen Logan, will he be in a photo also or did he propose before the ceremony so Rory and him may not be talking or Rory needs time to think.

I can't wait to see Emily's attitude towards not only Chris and Luke but also Logan, if he is not there will she ask questions, is Rory keeping Lorelai in the loop if the proposal came before and Emily doesn't know?

Still lots of questions to be answered about the whole proposal SL.

FDG, I don't think RL fans really care about how many seconds before or after the "rejection", as you nicely put, we'll still have Logan around.

As for the other stuff, like if Luke is looking after the horses too or wherever else he could be I really can't help you. I think it should be asked at LL thread.

Can someone tell me a straight forward answer about what is happening w/ Rory and Logan. Do we know for sure if they break up? Do they break up for good...or is it just a short break up and then they're back together before the season ends. I know that we know Logan proposes. But are we for sure that she turns him down? I guess I'm just really confused because things seem to be going great for Rory and Logan. So if they are going to break up, do we know why? and why are they going to randomly put the break up at the very end? There are so many contradictory spoilers out, that I'm just not sure what to believe.

I am soo confused. I just really need someone to clarify this for me as much as they can.
