Welcome MissChris822 and I'd have to agree, he saw what happened last season with C&L but then went ahead with his plan, it looks like he is gonna pull a Amy and do it with R&L. Only problem is this time he may not have 22 eps to fix it!

This is who made DSR stupid, according to the podcast LOL

Before you get spun up about a possible set for Logan in San Francisco - Recall the info we got about the motel set and it was used for one episode for about 30-45 seconds total screen time.
30 to 45 seconds was enough time for Rachel to knock on a door and kiss Ross senseless. It made for a pretty impactful scene at that.

But as I said before I'm a boundless optimist. If it does happen I'm only worried that by that time I'll be yelling at Logan to grow some balls after not slamming the door in her face.

The link doesn't work can you please fix it?

It's the man's job to grovel at her feet.

All i can say is that if this show ends the way it's being perceived to, I will be crushed. My favorite couple splitting isn't even what delivers the hardest blow. It's the fact that the writers would have the gall to write a finale watched by teenaged girls all around the world, basically telling them that if they ever want to make it in life, they should just forget about love. All love does is tie you down and force you to belittle yourself for the sake of another. If that's the case, then I need to prepare myself to live in a world full of emptyness and lonely, manipulative, oppurtunists who can't be bothered bend for anyone but themselves. I'm sorry but there's a differance between a feminist and a selfish b****.
I concur, unsurprisingly. I mean, according to 7.17 Rory already applied to the freakin' San Francisco Chronicle, for gosh sakes.

Ah, so Logan does get on his knees, and Rory's reaction is to get angry...why, ain't that just lovely? Peachy!

What a great parting gift the writers are preparing for us Sophies, utterly throwing the last three years into the trash!

i know this may seem like a total long shot, especially with the fact that we dont know whether or not this is the last season OR whether or not matt is in the finale or if he'd be there if there is another season. can't we try and get our point across to the powers that be about our disappointment in the demise of R/L, if in fact it is a permanent split? i mean of course last year we were given the assumption that lorelai ended up in chris's bed, but at least we knew luke was still gonna be on the show. this very well could be the last we see of matt. even though our opinions won't exactly change their mind, we could at least let them know that our beloved show is ruined, or is going to be ruined, if in fact their relationship if over.

who knows, they may surprise us, which is what i was thinking when we started getting all these spoilers about the breakup/proposal. heck, im still waiting for someone to say april fools. im just trying to find some hope in this situation, in which i am failing miserably. if we find out next week that there is a season 8, with mc on board, then we can sleep easily, i hope.

anyone with me? maybe not. but i'll do it alone anyway. i know that there's that ace of hearts campaign somewhere but i'd rather not try and rally some people into that, because they may not be into spoilers. so if anyone can point me in the direction of some contact, possibly an e-mail of the cw? or whoever you contact for this type of thing. i'll even go old school and whip out my stationery if i can find it and write a plan old stamped letter.

He's better. Yeah he has ****ed up, but he loves at 23/24 in ways Lorelai has never ever loved. S
Wow, well said I totally agree ...

He made mistakes ... who doesn't ... everybody keeps telling that Rory is only 22/23 years old and maybe ot ready yet ... of course that could be the case and it's ok ... but he is only 25 and he had to deal with something huge and destroying ... he wasn't used to it, he wasn't used to fail because there were no failures in the Huntzberger family ... only achievement counted and everybody knows how to deal with that ... and I hope that his failure and his dealing with this isn't the reason for Lorelai to say he is irresponsible ...

With the KAB and the fans thing; go find a KAB picture thread and look at the pictures of the woman in public. Half the time she looks visibly uncomfortable. While I do not need to defend someone that I do not know. I think it's a safe assumption, that KAB has SHYNESS ISSUES. At least it seems that way to me. However, I do love people judging people forever, because of the one time they meet them. Yes, folks should always be coordial, but they are FOLKS ss well. Which means they have problems as much as we have problems.

George, I thought the typical reaction for a woman, when you propsed to her. Was for that woman to get angry. This DAVID S. ROSENTHAL CAT is clever, and his writing represents a SLICE OF LIFE! David S. Rosenthal and his writing team get a 2 out of 5.

Geez. I just can't get over the "birthday gifts" the writers gave Logan at the end of the series: he first fails in business, and he ends the show depicted as a failure in love...Happy freakin' 25th birthday, Logan.

Perhaps Logan should have decided last year, before going to London after graduation, that Rory was only his "college girlfriend"; he certainly would have saved himself plenty of the upcoming pain and humilliation.

I just hope somebody, somewhere, sometime, writes some great fanfic that "fixes" this awful, awful mess. It'll be the only consolation we're to have.
