The thing of it is, Rory saying no to a proposal is not conducive to a "soulmate friends" ending.

You would think what we'll get is a "I never wanna see you again" ending.

Judging from 7.18, it would seem things are going great for R/L, with Rory telling Lorelai she's glad that Lorelai is "getting to know him" (Why is she "glad", I wonder, it's not like she wants to marry him)

Logan ain't even in 7.19

Whatever happens in 7.20 can't be bad, since Logan thinks Rory is ready to hear a proposal in 7.21...

Logan (and the unspoiled audience) is going to be blindsided on a bended knee.

I don't think he's gonna want to be friends after this...It's over.

Remember Abby's "broken up for good" and the tourguide's "Logan's done & gone."

To complete my nightmare Rory's next job could be in Philadelphia. (I think Alexis is being written out regardless of whether there is a season 8, given the CA spoiler.) At least that'll give the Lits some measure of happiness.

As for Logan, he'll grow bitter, go back to his father and marry a "trophy" wife.

Peachy!

Logan isn't in 19? *sigh* I hate that I ever grew to like him, now. At least if I didn't like Logan, I wouldn't be sad. *has pity party*

Did I say that? Oops! (Ah, well, it is not like it matters much anymore...)

Love your avi!

Yep. I'm reduced to discussing Baltar/Six on this thread.

i have officialy decided to accept that they break up...rory will come out looking like a indepedant woman who doesnt need a man in her life while logan looks like the jackass who tried to push her into something she wasnt ready for,

a tiny part of me will remain optimistic person;just because im a optimistic person by nature...but other then that i assume that ship has sunk

I wouldn't concentrate on the wording too much, I could have phrased the spoiler I posted different and we have seen how MA twists words.

I shall join your pity party momentarily...

Poor Logan...he's really getting "the shaft" on this ending.

Where did we hear Logan isn't in 7.19? Did I miss something? Is he contracted for the final 3 episodes? Who's on first?

Matt's appearance in 7.18 is his 13 ep this season. He's contracted for 15. He's not in 7.22. We know he's in 7.21. Hence he'll be in either 7.20 or 7.19, but not both.

A tourguide in one of the last tour descriptions brought over to the MT, when it existed, said that Logan was "done & gone"

I guess he was utterly correct.

George, thanks for breaking the fourth wall so to speak. However, it's possible that he can appear in one more episode. Maybe? Hopefully? If not, then, we should bombard Rosenthal at work. Seriously, someone post his phone number, and lets leave him a bunch of angry voice mails. I am not stating we curse him out, but we explain to him how much this really ruins the only great thing he had going.

However, George, CA appears in 21. Not in 22. Unless they changed her dream sequence to a different episode. Since it makes more sense if it's a dream.

This sux. This SUX!

I am with you and bree -- now I wish I hadn't purchased the last two season DVDs. Of the episodes that did have Logan in them, I can think of two off the top of my head where he was in ONE SCENE - for like 10 seconds!! How the **ll does that constitute a episode?

I am alternating between being extremely pissed off and surprisingly depressed/disappointed at the spoilers. I still remember when I fully got hooked on Gilmore Girls - had occassionally tuned in for a few minutes, but one day caught the first "debate" scene between Logan and Rory outside her dorm room, and was hooked beyond hooked by their chemistry and how fun they were - already - together.

Have been feeling like Rory and Logan fans have mostly been cheated out of some quality story with the two characters in the same room for the most part, with the exception of two or three eppys - but always thought, well, there will probably be some big payoff at the end. No, I guess it's more like a kiss-off

I agree with the other poster too who said she's worried about ending up disliking Rory in the end. I'm starting to feel that way and haven't even seen the eppy yet.

I'm normally optimistic, but I am with you George, I'm not sure I will be watching any more.

What a waste of a truly unique character, and what little storylines we did get showing the two characters evolving and growing together - just feels like a real punch in the stomach.

Is there some way to write the show guy - rosenthal? I know, it's too late for it to make any impact but I would still like to voice my displeasure.

Great post!

No matter what happens, Rory is going to look bad in this sequence of events! I only wish they had never created the character of Logan. If they hadn't, I wouldn't have continued watching GG.

George, so MC won't be in 7.19 or 7.22. Great! Why are people still watching this show? Most of the people I know who are still watching, watch for R/L. Without them, GG will end as a sinking ship.
