It's a crummy, crummy end for this character.
Oh I agree, see #208 ...

I can't believe the same guy who gave her the rocket and her favorite food on the roof (and a beer bong-hee) would be this lame.

If you want any help in CA let me know.

With the AB/MC hug it looks like that's the last scene they filmed together. I wonder if this is also the last Logan scene in the episode and the season/show? Ugh. So so lame.

Question: Was the San Francisco Chronicle one of the papers Rory applied to?

ETA: I think the 2 years is referring to them being together for over 2 years.

Yes.

Okee, just wondering what others think the parts of the overheard dialogue mean: Rory saying: "You did? When?" And the words "San Francisco" and "For two years" (it was not clear from the report who said that or so I read it) ...

Well IMO the final 5 eps will be a big cheese factory!

We have this proposal from Logan, stuff will Rory, Lorelai singing, all we need to top it off is Emily to hug Lorelai and all is forgiven and Luke to have his big moment which involves riding up to Lorelai on one of the horses from the DFI!

Either Logan applied somewhere else and Rory tells him she's going to SF or Logan applied in SF and Rory got a job somewhere else.

Perhaps (although that is extremely unlikely) both of them applied at the same paper.

Since this morning, I seem to be in a completely unfazed state. I have accepted the breakup. (I'll still be extremely happy if there was an alternate ending, though.)
One thing is certain - I'm glad I only bought the Season 5 DVD set up to now. I won't spend any money on Season 6 or 7.

Maybe MC has time to come to Vienna and visit his sister now.

Craig, I think for many here it is not so much a remembrance of a cheese factor related to the Logan proposal. Since we got this info Rory said NO, she might change her mind in 22 though ( I need hope) ... but right now when I just read the horse and carriage stuff I thought NO NO NO NO ... it will be extemely sucky to watch and I do not think I will have feelings of cheesy in a good way ... when it comes to that proposal ... if she would answer yes ... than yeah! I would probably be all giddy and wouldn't mind a high cheese-factor.

Suddenly am wondering if I am thinking of the right meaning of the word cheesy. To me it means very sappy/somewhat over the top in a sappy way.

blaab maybe I'm in a bad mood and it's finally sinking in this might be the end of the show.

And there it is ... Logan will be the bad boy at the end if this SF thing belongs to him (I mean if he didn't tell her about it and accept the job ) ... Logan is the bad boy and Rory is the perfect girl next door ... Oh how I hate this ...

Babs, really, I find it funny that you do not get how some folks MOVE FOR THE PEOPLE THEY LOVE except for Rory Gilmore. She most likely knew about the San Fran move. It makes no sense that she would not. However, she's turning down love, because of her own simple pride. When you love someone, that should mean more than a stroke to your ego. Apparently, Rory Gilmore, has to be the BOSS. If not, she gets uppidy. You never **** on the fairy tale. Unless you are a chump.

Exactly ... she wanted it by her terms and that's it ... nothing else is allowed ... and when this can't be fullfilled I'd rather let the love of my life walks away than swalloing my pride ... a perfect description of Rorys character ... oh I'm so mad at this moment I can't even describe it ...

You know it would be nice for them to be engaged and for a time live apart, it does happen or maybe even a quick wedding, they could elope to AC that would shock his mum!

How very original for DSR to choose this path

She definitely is her mother's daughter when it comes to that, Jason.

Yesterday, the one and only Heidi from gilmoregirls.org visited USC and here's what she returned with

Quote:
Season 8 News:
I spoke with at least nine different Gilmore crew members and each one told me pretty much the same story. They didn't know if the show would be back next year, but they certainly hoped it would be. Most seemed to expect the decision to be handed down in May. Some crew members predicted only a slight chance for season 8, while others were fairly optimistic. It seems very safe to say that no decision regarding season 8 yet been made. If it has, no one's told the crew members because from the impression I got everyone "hoped to come back a paycheck next year."...Episode News:

Unfortunately, I didn't find out the name of the epsiode, but I'm assuming that it's 7.21 because everything I saw involved Yale graduation. The only cast members I witnessed filming were Alexis Bledel (Rory), Liza Weil (Paris), Krysten Ritter (Lucy), and Michelle Ongkingco (Olivia).

The four girls filmed a scene together and I can only guess it was a post-graduation mini-celebration. During the outdoor scene each was dressed in black cap and gown, took turns chatting, popped open a bottle of bubbly, made small swigs, and as they walked off together someone (I believe Lucy) yelled, "To our futures!"

During a different scene, Rory and Paris walked across the graduation stage and received their diplomas. In the graduation line, Paris is directly in front of Rory. If I'm not mistaken, as Rory gets her diploma her name is announced as Lorelai Leigh Gilmore.

And in other news, a source close to the network confirmed that talks about S8 are still ongoing.
