Rory could get a trust fund from Rickard and Emily for her birhtday. Maybe they would have told her that already.

As for Logan being ready, I think he is more then ready. It's not marriage, or even an engagement. He would miss spending the night with her, and would probably see it as temporary anyway, especially if he has roomates. The last place I ever want to see Rory is back at Lorelai's. She shouldn't be in Stars Hollow at all. I know she's living with Lane, but my little fantasy world would rather she not. I think this whole Lane thing is all about keeping Lane's story alive in some sort of way that doesn't continue to make her totally superfluous to the show. So, in order for that to happen, you have to create this silly animal house living arrangement for Rory. Seriously! Where is she going to keep all her things? Clothes? Books? Accessories? Birkin Bag? Who gets first dibs for the shower in the morning? How is she paying for all the gas driving back and forth to the paper? Where does she eat? In the diner? Is Luke feeding her for free?

Ok, I'm starting to think Rory *doesn't* move in with Lane and here is why. In the sides, after Lane says she told Lorelai that Rory moved in with her, Zack says, "I'm sorry, moved in here?" Now, if Rory had really moved in, don't you think Zack - who lives there AND is Lane's bf - would know about it???
