Not always. I’ve seen some pretty average ones.

Smallville’s one was a train wreck. The 200th on the other hand. Big improvement.

Be cool if Flash made it to another 100 after this one.

That's true too actually. Knowing the Flash I'm sure it will be hit or miss.

I don't remember Smallville's 100th or their 200th. What happened to make the 100th a train wreak? I'm sure you are right, for me Smallville was hit or miss.

I just had a thought, what if, when Nora and Barry time travel, they run into Barry's dad, maybe even his mom? Nora could meet her grandparents, even if they don't know who she is. That could be fun, and we know the actor who plays his dad is in the episode as Jay, but he could also play Henry. It could work for the 100th.

I agree, if The Flash could make it ten years would be fantastic! Also we could wait till 2024 to get to Crisis on Infinite Earth.

100th episodes are supposed to be a celebration of a show making it to that point. Usually with a look back to see how far they’ve come.

It’s just too bad that Joe may not be able to be part of it.

I agree, cause Joe (Jessie) is such a huge part of the show! His presence will be truly missed.

Well, basically they chose the 100th episode as the one where Clark, in order to reverse his girlfriend Lana’s death, chooses to go back in time, even though he knew someone else would have to die in order for her to live. As a consequence, his father died. So, yeah, a complete train wreck.

Whereas the 200th, that one was a true celebration of the show, it looked back honoring the past, and gave us the right movement towards the present, with a little taste of what was going to come (Superman). It was truly a great one. And, no one had to die. IMO, no milestone episode such as 100th or 150th, or 200th should have anyone dying. The idea should be to celebrate the cast and the show, not killing regulars!

Thanks. I don't remember Clark changing the timeline but I do remember Johnathon dying. That was so sad. I do remember the 200th though. Isn't that the one where Lois makes a video to inspire Clark and fans of the show where in the video? I agree, the 100th and so on, should celebrate the cast and show and not make it depressing.
