It's just a bit of fun, let them have it. And better this happens during the crossover than regular season.

These shows are meant to entertain, and even though we can have some expectations about what makes them good or not, some fans take things way too seriously.

i hear you....i just....dislike ARROW so much I feel like ELSEWORLDS really opened up the possibilities for where they could go with it -- but it is the CW so a freaky friday body swap was the first place we all should've assumed they'd go haha

so this elseworlds thing...i'm getting the impression that our Earth-1 characters basically aren't in it at all?

like, this story just takes place in an alternate universe entirely? they did say the previous episode was going to function as the mid-season finale, so that the crossover just stands apart. is that what that means though, that everything is just in a different reality, so it has virtually no relationship to what's happening on the show?

About the crossover, it's Barry and Oliver swapping bodies so it can't be out of continuity. I'm disappointed because I'd rather an Earth where Oliver is the Flash and Barry is the Green Arrow. They could have done something fun with the other characters as well.

I don't think SA is the greatest actor. I can't imagine him trying to act as Barry. Oliver is also not the greatest character for me so I'm not interested in Grant's part either And Lord help me if I have to watch WestAllen and Olicity with Stephen's Barry and Grant's Oliver I hope they don't go there and forget about the romance for once.

I'm more interested in the Trigger Twins part.



I hope Iris has a meaningful part in this but judging by what I've seen so far she doesn't, if she's in there at all

I'm not so sure they switched bodies. Honestly, I think this is another world altogether. The name of the crossover 'Elseworlds' is very telling, IMO.

I'm sure other worlds are involved but I remember someone asking Guggenheim, who's in the charge of the crossover ( ) if the crossover would be out of continuity and he said it wouldn't. Maybe he was talking just about Arrow, I don't know.

Oh no, Guggenheim's in charge of the crossover? that's a bad sign already. now i know not to expect much from the women characters. barely any Iris i'm sure

i don't care about Caitlin's character at all but i still think they should bring in Sue Dearborn (later Sue Dibney) as a love interest for Ralph.
