I don't know I have enjoyed what I've gotten with WA. I just don't really feel the necessity for them getting all hot and heavy. They aren't 16 and Barry isn't a manwhore like Oliver. They have a very natural chemistry that I prefer the romantic vibe I get from them. I don't know. It works for me as a viewer.

I think they could stand to have more couple moments for them (and I don't even ship Westallen), but I don't really care either way about any love/sex scenes.

I watch the show with my sons so the romance simply goes right over their heads. It's all about the super heroes!

Yep, I completely agree. I don't need love scenes— never have. Heck, I haven't watched a show with a love scene in it since Being Human. If I had to choose between what we've gotten so far and love scenes I would pick the former every time.

This actually reminds me of a book I read in highschool where a character loses her virginity and then afterwards when she's thinking about it she acknowledges the fact that she understands why they fade to black in movies because the moment is too private to share.

But with all the softcore porn-like scenes we get nowadays on TV I don't blame people for expecting it

I agree. I also don't need love scenes. But I need more couple scenes. Some of the scenes. they've got would work even if they were just friends. So I need more scenes away from Flash business, where they are couple-y and not around the rest of the team.

There were a few episodes in the middle chunk of episodes were their could have been more intimate moments, but they were rarely alone. Maybe my expectations were too low in the first place

Yes it was!! I was a bit obsessed with that series but I don't think I finished it. I don't think the library had all the books

The show would be done. You cannot have Barry Allen without Iris West. It's not possible. They are way too canon in the comics and this show is constructed in a way where a lot more people would be affected by her death... her father, brother, too. So many wouldn't be the same. It just wouldn't work. I think Berlanti learned from Arrow. There's no way he'd destroy WestAllen. Imagine DC probably not even being able to digest MG killed off the BC and then Iris West after that. They would not be happy, more like livid.
