Honestly, the actresses who play the Liars + Mona literally got the episode off. A finale, the biggest finale and supposedly most important episode of the series to date had five actresses on the sidelines eating popcorn, watching a movie that was foreign to them.

Exactly. They had to stand there and look shocked. Oh and they had to side with A (without feeling any anger over what they've endured for years) as well. What a disappointment.

Thanks for the article. I agree with some points but a part of me does believe MK wanted to villainize the adults in the story. She just failed in execution and I can see why so many people are pissed that she wrote essentially a Norman Bates type of story.

I just don't understand why MK didn't follow the freaken books! Why did she have to take her TV show based on a popular, successful book series and stray from it so massively? The villain is Alison and right now on her show Alison is the victim. It couldn't go more against the book series. Unless she is showing Ali as the final A in the last 30 episodes I really think she failed because she didn't respect or trust the book series.

i have never read the books but it would have been less offensive and less embarrassing for the writers to follow the twin route. smh

this is just a mess. how does she still have a job? then again julie plec writes misogynistic characters, glorifies abusive relationships, and glorifies suicide and still is named 'queen of the cw' so ...
