It could mean that Iris/Eddie, who are broken up in the course of things right now, get engaged. Or that Eddie goes evil. Or Barry gets amnesia. 
Sadly, imo the most likely "change" in the course of things is E/I getting engaged (Joe giving his blessing, Eddie changing his mind, Iris on the way to becoming Mrs. Thawne...) Otherwise, I doubt they're gonna reset thing too much. |
Well, if you mean an alternate TL, then yeah I could see it. But in the current one I don't see EI getting engaged right after getting back together. I think they'd still be on shaky ground even if they love each other, I don't think they're that dumb. Too much would be going on for an engagement. Maybe they'll talk about it or it'll be brought up again next season but I'd be very surprised to see them actually get engaged in this timeline in the finale.
