Does anyone know about the sneak peek on PBS tonight? Supposedly it will show a glimpse of the wedding and something about Lady Grantham falling ill - although I don't know if this means Violet or Cora.

I don't think there was a sneak peek on PBS, but Shirley MacLaine received some sort of lifetime achievement award and Elizabeth was there during the ceremony to present a clip from what I'm guessing is the season premiere from a Violet and Martha scene. Someone put it up on Youtube here! Whoever posted it filmed it straight from their tv so the quality isn't great but I'm glad they put it up fast.

Anna was just a housemaid who also happened to do ladies maid stuff for the sisters. If she was a real ladies maid then I think she would be called Miss Smith (or Mrs. Bates now) and not Anna.

Just had a thought. Could Carson be the death in S3? My reason is as follows:
- bout of exhaustion in 2x02 - got ill from the Spanish flu in 2x08. We know that JF likes to foreshadow things well before it happens. No one else seems to have had those health issues in S2. Think my reasoning is sound? __________________
