BTW ... I wonder if the next Doctor is actually the one who sees River off to the Library or not? I remember in that episode, the one where we were introduced to River Song via the 10th Doctor, she told the 10th Doctor, how he showed up with a new haircut, and a new suit and such ... to send her off on that mission to the Library ... I kind of got the impression, she meant that he was a different incarnation when that happened, especially since she told the 10th Doctor, she had never seen him so "Young" before, not to mention we've yet to see the new improved screwdriver that the 10th Doctor used, that was given to River by a future incarnation of himself. Timeline of River Song In the Name of the Doctor as well, River also gave the impression that she and the Doctor would meet up again, and not with her being just a Ghost so to speak either. Knowing Doctor Who as well, and the fact that River is the love of his life, his Soulmate if you will, it wouldn't surprise me if somewhere they figure out a way to recover River from the Library somehow. I also wouldn't be surprise (though it might be just a ship for me that is) if it turns out that Susan Forman isn't really the Doctor's Grandaughter, but is instead, his Daughter with River Song, that of course he didn't know that when Susan first came to live with him. I'd like to think that Susan was the reason why he starting down the path of protecting Earth and Humans, because he thought she was his Grandaughter, yet at the time she was presented to him, he wasn't married and didn't have any children. The Fact that Susan would be half human, and STILL a time lord, would intregue him, and perhaps cause him to age himself for his first incarnation to fit the role of Grandfather, and send him down the road to find his wife and the 'child' of his would would become the parent of Susan (only to find out in the end, that Susan was all along his child with River and how he couldn't raise Susan as his current incarnation, because of some danger to Susan, if he did so). Speaking of Rory ... here are some really cool Vids that I don't think many have seen ... and also this petition here, to have the storyboard actually filmed: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/d...ould-be-filmed Last edited by CincyLady; 06-04-2013 at 08:00 PM |

With River being Susans mother or even grandmother. I think this idea would have been great and I would have loved to see this idea developed futher. I dont think it is appropriate however after the final scene in The Name of the Doctor. After the final episode aired I wrote a fair amount expaining the episode and some theorys. This is a section of what I wrote on the speculation of who is John Hurt's Doctor. Quote:

Capaldi was awesome in everything i saw him and i think he'll do great, but sadly, i'm not sure this return to a "old" doctor is going to go well with the peeps who knew and loved the show with Tennant and Smith who were, you know, the young and handsome doctore lol.

Maybe he can have Jamie from The Thick of It As his Companion? They would have to clean the language up a smidgeon though . |

My only reservation is that he has been on the show before and I really don't like that they reuse actors in this way. I find it extremely noticeable. I get over it because I love the show, but it's really annoying.
Aside from that, I'm glad it's someone that has a love for the show. I feel that that is important, and I'm curious as to the dynamic he will have with Clara. I don't like that some people are willing to write off an older doctor, because I think it could be a great move. |

Bummer that we have to wait until the end of the year for the next new episode.
