General:

Linda Schuyler honoured for 'Degrassi'

Excerpt:

CTV.ca: What kinds of subjects are out there that you still want to tackle on the show?

Linda: It's funny; my writing team is very good. Brendon Yorke, who is going to be at Sprockets on Saturday, heads them up and they are good at keeping up on what's going on today.

Right now we are working on a script that involves kids fighting and posting the video on YouTube, and the kids come to hero status because of it. Well, that is a story that could have never been told in the original series, because this kind of phenomena didn't exist.

There always seems to be fresh angles coming up on how teenagers are reacting with one another and interacting with the media. Even though a lot of the themes might stay the same, the way the stories get told are so dependent on how the media interplays with this generation.

CTV.ca: How much longer do you see yourself continuing the series?

Linda: When we did the classic show, when our students going through graduated, we stopped the show. And we figured it had run it's course and felt successful, and it felt right.

This time we're being smarter. As our older gang is graduating, we are seeding the school with younger students. So we are leaving our school so that as long as the broadcasters and the audiences wanted it, we could be around for quite a while.

Quote:
There's a pretty detailed story from a girl who was an extra for season seven on one of Degrassi's livejournal communities. I don't want to post a link because the girl didn't want to get in trouble for sharing anything. But I will say I'm almost positve that the influx of students are the Lakehurst gang, based on pictures and her description of what she had to do.

Reflections from Steve Bergson- Degrassi Tribute (Sprockets Film Festival)

Excerpt:

* AIDS will be one of the themes in the new season (they were kinda cagey about revealing too much about the new season)

* Linda mentioned how the adult/teen interaction has changed, in comparison to the "original" Degrassi, in that they want to have the kids work out the problems on their own, not have the grown-ups solve it for them. At the same time, if they don't have adult-teen interaction, it leaves less for such Original Degrassi-ers as Spike, Snake and Joey to do on the show. So, they've compromised a little.

* Something they've been trying this time around is gradually introducing younger cast members so that when the "original regulars" get too old to work on the show, the "newer" regulars will be able to take their place. In this way, they hope to extend the life of the series in a way that they couldn't with DJH or DH.

July 20, 2007 Podcast

The-Mary: This is kind of random. But what's your favorite of Shane Kippel hair cuts?
Adamo: Shane Kippel... you know what? Shane Kippel...ugh, I can't even say this. I can't even say what I want to say. I'll give away new season information.
The-Mary: Oh no!
Adamo: But I'll just say there are some crazy hairstyles for Shane Kippel coming up this season. The hairstyles do not stop. But you know what, this is--
The-Mary: And that would be a spoiler on season 7? Does the hair like, factor into the plot?
Adamo: Yeah... you... I can't even begin...
The-Mary: Oh my god! I'm so curious!
Adamo: It's a big one. It's a big one.

Behind the scenes with Degrassi girls' 'Vervegirl' cover shoot

Excerpt:

When "Degrassi: The Next Generation" returns, expect the upcoming season to be as riveting as ever.

Dobrev, brushing her freshly coiffed dark brown curls off her shoulders, says "Degrassi always 'goes there' and it's going there again this year. Make sure you watch!"

Collins later excitedly reveals a clue when she says, "I can't say very much, but this photo shoot - it will be right up Paige's alley next season."

Shirley Douglas makes guest appearance on 'Degrassi: The Next Generation'

Expert:

Actress Shirley Douglas was on the set of "Degrassi: The Next Generation" for a guest appearance Thursday - although she admits she didn't know until recently that the show was still in production.

Douglas said she was surprised when she got the invitation to appear on the wildly popular teen show. "I used to watch Degrassi a long time ago, and I didn't realize they're still making it, because I don't have any children at home and I don't watch a lot of television for young people," Douglas said in an interview.

"So I was very excited when I heard they were still doing it."

The 73-year-old Toronto-based actress - who has appeared in such iconic Canadian TV shows as "Road to Avonlea," "Wind at My Back," "Robson Arms" and "Corner Gas" - has a role as head of the theatre department at a college that one of the "Degrassi" characters has applied to.

She said she thinks of "Degrassi" as a Canadian icon.

"It's exciting that this company has stayed together and kept going quite successfully," she said.

"This show has been going a long time and it runs beautifully, it just runs beautifully."

Mike Lobel, who plays Jay Hogart on the show, appears in one scene with Douglas. He said he was intimidated to meet her but immediately felt comfortable.

Degrassi transforms Keele campus into a television stage

Excerpt:

The episode, which will air in January 2008, features a special concert that Degrassi students go to during their spring break from school. Also featured in this episode is iconic Canadian actress Shirley Douglas.

For the filming, York’s Keele campus was transformed into Smithdale University. Douglas plays the role of the head of a theatre college at Smithdale that one of the Degrassi characters has applied to. Several scenes for the two-part episode were filmed at locations on the Keele campus, including the Science & Engineering Building, Campus Walk and Accolade. The Underground Restaurant provided a rest facility for the cast and crew.

spoilersSPOILERSspoilers by The-Seth
  1. Everybody dies.
  2. Turns out that the "everybody dying" thing was just a delusion brought on by lacquer fumes from the wood shop. But Manny's hair turns blonde, which is pretty much the same as everybody dying.
  3. One of Degrassi's most historic relationships comes to an end.
  4. Someone receives a life-changing diagnosis, and thus changes his/her life because of it.
  5. Manny yet again manages to ruin everything for everyone by who she chooses to get with (or not get with).
  6. Somebody, possibly bonked on lacquer fumes, actually voluntarily dates Jay.
  7. Somebody brings the Mohawk back, and it may or may not be Darcy.
  8. Ashley restarts her music "career."
  9. Someone experiences something that someone else at Degrassi has experienced before and hoped that no one else would ever have to experience again.
  10. Somebody (possibly the editor of a college newspaper) gets back together with somebody else, but then blows it by tonguing the LAST person you expect.
  11. No, not her. Uh-uh, not her either. And definitely not him. Seriously the LAST person.
  12. Toby? Still not getting any.

I thought it was time to introduce myself! (Charlotte Arnold)

Excerpt:

"I've had to come to terms with the fact that it isn't all about me any more! J There's also been a bit of a cool transition for me from being on a fairly young, light-hearted show to dealing with more mature storylines and racier issues. On the whole, I'm so happy to read "Holly J" in the scripts, to interact with all my favourite characters, not to mention work with some familiar faces: Shenae and Miriam both had roles on "Naturally Sadie," and none other than Mr. Jacob Kraemer, my former on-screen flame from that show, recently popped by Degrassi to stir things up..."

Just keep your eyes peeled....oh and cross your fingers

I do appreciate all your love and support! Keep it locked on John Bregar as any updates will be revealed there first!

I was an extra on Degrassi one day during the filming on 715/716.

Episode Titles:
715: Got My Mind Set on You
716: Sweet Child of Mine.

I want to be really careful about what I say. I don't want any of this coming back to bite me in the ass.

Craig is no longer part of the plot AT ALL. He's in school, so don't even ask.

Lakehurst is 100% in fact merging with Degrassi.

Damien- Mazin Elsadig= Super nice guy.
Johnny- Scott Paterson= Luffs. He was so nice to me. He was that long haired kid who was with the guy that killed JT.

Jay proposes to ... Manny.

Mia + Lucas (another Lakehurst guy) a possibility. The call sheet says:

Sc.
111: Anna not pleased Lucas is back
123: Decisions with Isabella in mind.
125: Birthday Party
127: Mia considers Lucas -- The End

HUGE SPOILER!!

Darcy accuses Mr. Simpson of sexual harassment. Untrue, but it gets Snake suspended and makes waves for Emma--even after she admit its.

09/20/07

I was a VIP walk on. I got to tour everywhere. I have over 100 pictures which I'm going to upload (but not on the spoiler page obviously).

I have no clue about the Manny/Jay issue other than what's on the call sheet which states:

Scene 126: Manny meets Jay's family - cast #2, 8, 87, 88, A
which translates on the bottom page to:
Cassie Steele
Mike Lobel

Kim Bourne
Robert Bidaman
2xdrivers w/ quiet cars (A)

And on the prop list it states: Manny's engagement ring.

I just put 2 and 2 together.

Rumors:

Following appearances by Kevin Smith and Alanis Morissette two seasons ago, the Toronto-made series Degrassi: The Next Generation is considering welcoming more celebrity guests. Sources claim Janice Dickinson is scheduled to show up in an episode next season.

News from the Exec:

04/23/07
Just walked back from set to my office, we are just completing the first shot of the day on the first episode of Season 7--a one-hour special (701/702) that at this time is called "Standing in the Dark". It's great to be back!

The first scene we are shooting (which is not the first scene of 701) is in university apartment where Ellie, Jesse, Paige and Alex are laughing at a romantic comedy on television, while a despondent Marco looks at his cell phone...

05/18/07
Just chatting with Shane... I think you'll like the new hairstyle Spinner gets early in this season....

05/22/07
Just walked back from set, we're on the last day of 706!!

Here's the episode summary as it stand now:
701 Standing In The Dark Part 1
702 Standing In The Dark Part 2
703 Love Is A Battlefield
704 It's Tricky
705 Death Or Glory Part 1
706 Death Or Glory Part 2
707 We Got the Beat
708 Jessie's Girl
709 Hungry Eyes

05/25/07
I laughed when I read the "episode synposes" set out below (and apparently on imdb.com) for the first two eps: not even close!!!

06/03/07
Don't know when the Degrassi press release will come out, but this coming Monday CTV will have their annual "upfont" at which they announce everything about the forthcoming year, followed by a huge party. A lot of the Degrassi and INstant Star cast will be there. There will be an announcement of something special about the launch of Degrassi episodes this year, and I think they may also screen some excerpts from the Minis we just shot ten days ago...

06/07/07
The current CTV plan is that when Dancing With the Stars finishes its season, sometime in November, Gossip Girl (a new American show which looks like it should be a hit) will move to the 8:00pm - 9:00 Tuesday slot, and Degrassi will run 9:00 - 10:00, following Gossip Girl.

However, schedules change, and if a show that is starting in September doesn't do as well as people had hoped, it is still possible that Degrassi could start earlier in the fall...

06/30/07
701 and 702 take place in winter... it's January and everyone is returning to Degrassi after the winter break... I love the music in the snowboarding sequence...

06/30/07
We completed the soundmix for episode 701 yesterday, it is soooo good, expecially loving the music this year--and I think we're back on track wihth some excellent issue-oriented storylines! It means one episodes is complete and ready to go!!

07/23/07
And yes, Jake Epstein was in the other day, rehearsing for the episodes coming up that will be directed by Bruce Macdonald (the director who shot the very first Next Generation episodes!)

We just did the soundmix for 704--a great Jimmy and Ashley story!

07/25/07
Today we'll put the final touches on the new opening sequence. The opening establihsing shot is changed, and made slightly shorter, so the music has been edited there, and then some actors have been replaced by new actors, and the final shot of the entire cast (with the word Degrassi in front) is different, to reflect the cast changes...

07/25/07
My guess is the press release won't come out now until much closer to the broadcast... in the meantime let me give you some hints! Topics this year include rape drugs, a life-threatening illness, alcoholism and an infusion of rival school students due to a school closure. A new “queen bee” will also hit Degrassi giving Paige a run for her money. New characters include Raymond Ablack as Sav; Charlotte Arnold as Holly J; Paula Brancati as Jane; and Samantha Munro as Anya....

07/25/07
Oh, and here are some tentative episode titles:

701 Standing In The Dark Part 1
702 Standing In The Dark Part 2
703 Love Is A Battlefield
704 It's Tricky
705 Death Or Glory Part 1
706 Death Or Glory Part 2
707 We Got the Beat
708 Jessie's Girl
709 Hungry Eyes
710 Pass the Dutchie
711 Owner of a Lonely Heart
712 Live to Tell
713 Bust a Move Part 1
714 Bust a Move Part 2

07/31/07
(in response to: Are the episodes going to be spread out through out the season or are we going to get a bunch of episodes in row focusing on one group?)
Yes, they'll be mixed together!

08/12/07
An interesting conversation. For what it's worth, my own feeling is that in Season 6 (and also Season 5 to some extent) I think we veered a litle bit too much into the relationships, and didn't explore the issues and their reamifications quite as deeply as we have in the past... not to say that relationships are bad, or that those seasons weren't great... but I think you'll notice a change in Season 7!

08/15/07
As a clarification, some news reports (including the New York Times) have talked about a Degrassi TV Movie being made during Season 7--there's actually two sides to the story. First, it is the case that we are in dicussions to create a movie, not just a TV movie but a theatrical feature. These discussions are still at the early stages, so there's nothing concrete to report on that, but I remain quite hop[eful that something will come out of the discussions. Second, during the course of Season 7 there is a one-hour special episode (it will also be edited as two half-hours) and I think this is what the reports were referring to--so that's not tecnnically a movie since I always consider a movie to be around 90 minutes long, not 60 minutes, but there you go!

09/14/07
some more tentative titles:

715 Got My Mind Set On You
716 Sweet Child O' Mine
717 Talking In Your Sleep
718 Another Brick In The Wall

09/19/07
Jessie's Girl IS the real title... and the episode touches on alcoholism... and involves Caitlin Ryan...
And whoever posted the 'synopsis' of 704 and asked if it was real: it made me laugh, not even close!!!

09/22/07
Even I am starting to get excited that October 5th is not that far away--and I've already seen 701/702 zillions of times in various stages!!!

For those of you who are upset that Canadians won't be seeing the show as soon as Americans, if it makes you feel any better even the Degrassi cast hasn't seen any of the shows... the first they'll see is in mid-October when we'll have a special cast and crew screening of the first two episodes of each of Degrassi and Instant Star PLUS the amazing Degrassi Halloween Special show that we've been secretly working on!!!

09/22/07
ps you will NOT BELIEVE the Halloween Special show!!!! It is not part of the regular season of shows, it is, well, special!!!!

09/26/07
It's CTV who issues the press release, not us... it was ready months ago, but they decided not to release it until they knew when Degrassi was going to start broadcasting this fall... which they still don't know! If one of the other shows starts doing not very well, then they'll slot Degrassi in very quickly, otherwise it will be later this fall... but once they have a firm broadcast slot for Degrassi, I'm sure we'll see the press release immediately.

But in any event, I don't want people having false expectations... Sean went off to the army, and it has been very difficult coming up with story while he's there, so the Sean character has not featured so far this year, and while there's a small possibility he could return by the end of the year, I don't want people holding their breath. We love the character, and I'm sure he'll return at some point, but it may very well be that it is not this season... if you go to The-N's website, they have a Season 7 picture flipbook of characters... it's cool, but you'll notice that there's no picture of Sean...

09/27/07
Yes, the special about the cast visiting Kenya and building a school in a mud village there will be shown on MTV in Canada and on The N in the U.S.... I haven't written much about this as I wanted the cast to be able to talk about it themselves, and also let the special show speak for itself... I THINK it might be on around October 17th in Canada, not sure about the U.S. (and p.s. this is NOT the Halloween special... that is something totally completely different!!!

p.s. I was interested to see one show in particular not doing that well on CTV... which MIGHT mean there's a chance for Degrassi earlier than expected. I said MIGHT. And this is just my speculation, I've heard nothing from CTV about it...

09/27/07
And yes, those MSN descriptions are accurate. Very sparse, but accurate!!

And were only 8 days away from the season premiere on The N....

09/27/07
Here's the description of 701/702 that is on The N's website, it's a bit less sparse! While Darcy struggles between being a God-fearing good girl and a Peter-licking bad girl, Toby struggles with his burning feelings for revenge against Lakehurst

09/29/07
we just hit the 34,000th post... and we're only five days away from the premiere on The N... we've finished the sound mix (which is the last major work that needs to be completed on an episode) of 712... 12 done and 12 to go!!!

09/29/07
Yes it is true, four cast members will be on TRL next week...

09/30/07
The MSN TV listing sounds accurate for the Halloween Special... Yes, it is called Degrassi of the Dead!

10/03/07
For those of you who are pondering the possibility of a Jay-Manny marriage... may I say that when you see what the actual storyline is this year involving those two, I think you'll look back on your ponderings and smile a lot!!!

10/04/07
I'm in L.A. having meetings about a number of things, including a new Degrassi soundtrack album, based on Season 7's songs... can;\'t wait for you to hear the music in Season 7, I think we've reached a new high!! Oh, and can you believe iyt's not much mroe than 24 hours until Season 7 launches on The N???

10/20/07
The special is only half an hour long, and there's only one part to it. WIFLTBAG is a two-parter, but it won't start with Part 1 till the following Friday...

Just in case you were worried, if you record DOTD, read the end of the credits... the legal language says "No zombies were actually harmed during the filming of this motion picture."

10/21/07
Quite right, I got mixed up! Hereare the episode titles for this year up to 722:

701 Standing In The Dark Part 1
702 Standing In The Dark Part 2
703 Love Is A Battlefield
704 It's Tricky
705 Death Or Glory Part 1
706 Death Or Glory Part 2
707 We Got the Beat
708 Jessie's Girl
709 Hungry Eyes
710 Pass the Dutchie
711 Owner of a Lonely Heart
712 Live to Tell
713 Bust a Move Part 1
714 Bust a Move Part 2
715 Got My Mind Set On You
716 Sweet Child O' Mine
717 Talking In Your Sleep
718 Another Brick In The Wall
719 Broken Wings
720 Ladies Night
721 Everything She Wants
722 Don't Stop Believin'

11/07/07
I think Vitch captured it well, there's no impact on Degrassi or Instant Star since all of our writers are member of the Writer's Guild of Canada and live in Canada--of course we've already finsihed shooting Instant Star as of this week, so thestrike would have no impact there anyway. We are now starting 719 (Broken Wings)/720 (Ladies' Night) for Degrassi, and all the scripts for Degrassi have been written, although we are in re-writes on 721-724 (but as I say it doesn't matter because the strike doesn't affect us). There may be some other shows on The N which could be affected, I'm not sure...

11/07/07
Here's the complete list:

701 Standing In The Dark Part 1
702 Standing In The Dark Part 2
703 Love Is A Battlefield
704 It's Tricky
705 Death Or Glory Part 1
706 Death Or Glory Part 2
707 We Got the Beat
708 Jessie's Girl
709 Hungry Eyes
710 Pass the Dutchie
711 Owner of a Lonely Heart
712 Live to Tell
713 Bust a Move Part 1
714 Bust a Move Part 2
715 Got My Mind Set On You
716 Sweet Child O' Mine
717 Talking In Your Sleep
718 Another Brick In The Wall
719 Broken Wings
720 Ladies' Night
721 Everything She Wants
722 Don't Stop Believin'
723 If This Is It
724 We Built This City

11/11/07
As I said a few months ago, I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised by the episode coming up on Friday... and the follow-ups to its storyline!

11/13/07
(in response to: [kowaii] I know, I feel silly for thinking that Manny and Jay were getting married haha/)
hehe, Kowaii let me just say... well, actually, I better not say anything!!

11/23/07
We should be able to talk shortly about when Degrassi will start airing on CTV.... and eTalk tonight I think will annnounce something about our season finale, something we've been working on for wquite a while, so once it's announced I can maybe talk about it a bit!!!

11/24/07
As revealed last night on eTalk, we are thrilled that Natasha Bedingfield will be appearing as herself in this season's finale episode of Degrassi! She's not only acting in the episode, she'll also be performing two songs--one of them from her new album which is being released in January, and the other the amazing "Unwritten". Of course Natasha took the US by storm last year with the first British chart topping hit by a female in almost twenty years. Vanity Fair singled her out as the spearhead of a new Britpop invasion; she became one of the faces of Gap (alongside Mia Farrow and Common); she was invited by her hero Prince to jam with him at a private party; Bono enlisted her for his (RED) campaign; and her song Unwritten proved to be the most played song on mainstream American radio in 2006. How amazing it is to have her on Degrassi!!!!!

12/05/07
We're just about two hours away from wrapping filming of Season 7 of Degrassi!!! Can't believe it!! Of course the finale episode takes place in summertime, as a prom is going on, and in reality here in Toronto it's freezing!!!!

For a hint on the final episode, here's an interview with Natasha Bedingfield:

TORONTO -- As production wrapped on season seven of "Degrassi: The Next Generation," special guest star Natasha Bedingfield flew into Toronto to perform on the finale. Bedingfield told CTV.ca that this was her first exposure to the "Degrassi" phenomenon.

"I have heard of 'Degrassi,' but I hadn't had the pleasure of watching it. I understand it's a show that has been going since I was born," said Bedingfield.

The seventh season of "Degrassi" will air in early 2008 on CTV.

Bedingfield is superstar performer known around the world for her soulful vocal stylings. She has had number one hit singles in both the United States and the United Kingdom; her song "Unwritten" was the most played song on mainstream radio last year.

Bedingfield flew to Toronto specifically for her appearance on "Degrassi."

The singer will be releasing her sophomore album in the U.S., "Pocketful of Sunshine," in January 2008. The new record features guest appearances from Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and "Beautiful Girls" crooner Sean Kingston.

For the shoot, the 25-year-old performed two songs with her band, including "Unwritten," and "Pocketful of Sunshine," the title track from her upcoming album.

With the cast dressed in tuxedos and gowns, the episode will feature a time-honoured high school tradition; the year end prom.

Bedingfield admitted that she's never been to a prom of her own.

"We don't really do proms the way you guys do proms, where you really go all out," said Bedingfield. "You have to have a date and a corsage. For us, it's just like a graduation ball where everyone gets drunk, there's a lot of fun, and they dress up, but it's not so much a date."

While she didn't go to her own highschool prom, Bedingfield did have the chance to perform for her friends in university at a ball. Bedingfield had dropped out of school after a year to pursue her musical career. "It was my moment to say, look, I've got a record deal, I'm not working in a super market. I actually did do something."

The upcoming season of "Degrassi: The Next Generation" promises to be the most shocking and outrageous of any year in "Degrassi" history. CTV.ca will have the latest on when the new season will premiere in 2008, including interviews with the cast and more from Natasha Bedingfeld.

12/06/07
We're planning on Season 8... we have to be ordered first though of course!

Scheduling info:

The Best Years season 1 finale and South of Nowhere mid-season finale are on September 21st. The remaining 8 episodes of SoN will return in February. The Degrassi season 7 premiere is on Oct. 5th preceding the "About a Girl" premiere. The N will run this Degrassi season in 3 installments -- first 8 episodes, middle 8 episodes, last 8 episodes. After the first 8 Degrassi episodes are completed on November 16th, "What Goes On" bows on November 30th.

The reason is because Dancing With The Stars is starting early this fall, and is going to be airing in Degrassi’s scheduled timeslot (Tuesdays, 9-10pm). Once DWTS is over, Degrassi will finally return, airing 2 episodes every Tuesday.

Expect the press release this Sept.

Degrassi Movie News:

MTVN's NOGGIN and The N Channels to Split into Two Separate 24-Hour Services, Dec. 31, '07

Excerpt:

The Degrassi Spring Break Movie, the network's first Degrassi TV movie, scheduled to premiere in April 2008, will feature the cast from Degrassi Community High as they take their first college road trip

Season 7 Summaries:

NEW SEASON OF DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION
Back from the holiday break, Degrassi and Lakehurst merge, and tensions are so high that the walls are sweating. Spinner's brawling in the halls and frightened of losing his manhood, but he's in danger of losing so much more. Darcy tries to take the righteous path, but ends up somewhere she never expected to go. And Toby's telling himself to forgive, but he's being drowned out by the part of him screaming for revenge. Degrassi: look who goes there now.

701/702 - Standing in the Dark
Degrassi opens its seventh season in an hour-long episode with bad news for the regulars: Rival Lakehurst High has invaded due to a fire at their school, so now the campus is bursting at the seams — and so is Toby. Seeing “J.T.'s killers,” as he calls them, makes him get off on a very bad foot to start the school year. And speaking of that, Darcy and Peter have some very personal relations at a party... or do they? On the other hand, it is pretty certain Marco isn't getting anything out of his relationship with Dylan — but try telling him that. (TV Guide)

Season 7 begins with Degrassi full of Lakehurst students, which doesn't please Toby. Meanwhile, Peter has Darcy torn between who she is and who he wants her to be; and Marco continues to deny that Dylan is done with him. (TV Guide)

While Darcy struggles between being a God-fearing good girl and a Peter-licking bad girl, Toby struggles with his burning feelings for revenge against Lakehurst. (The-N)

A hardworking Paige tires of Alex's lazy attitude. (TV Guide)

Paige is really making something of herself, but all Alex is making is a dent in the couch. (The-N)

Paige scores her dream job in the fashion world, and it looks like she may be on her way to really making something of herself. But all Alex is making is a dent in the couch, and she's driving Marco and Ellie bats. If something doesn't change, Paige might grow wings herself. Meanwhile, Manny hooks up with her old Lakehurst BF and discovers that Degrassi/Lakehurst relationships can't do anything but end. Badly. (The-N)

Paige gets her dream job in the fashion world, while Alex seems to lack ambition. (MSN TV)

704 - It's Tricky
Ashley takes over and begins to boss Jimmy around. (TV Guide)

Ashley and Jimmy's music career could be huge... as long as he does everything she says. (The-N)

Envious of Craig's rock stardom, Ashley restarts her own music career and brings in Jimmy to rap on one of her songs. They could be huge... as long as Jimmy does everything she says. Meanwhile, Mia decides to start her life over, with item number one on her to-do list being the hottest Lakehurst guy. You know, the one that the bitchiest Lakehurst girl wants to score first. (The-N)

Ashley becomes very controlling while she and Jimmy work toward their music career. (MSN TV)

Ashley wants to move out of Craig's shadow, but it seems no one wants to hear what she has to offer, especially when Jimmy joins her act. Meanwhile, Mia has a problem with her Lakehurst lockermate. (TV Titan)

705 - Death or Glory
Part 1 of 2. Spinner is involved in a fight at school, and the repercussions are far greater than he anticipated. (TV Guide)

A fight at school is nothing new for Spinner, but the fallout will come after his doctor makes a grave discovery while tending to the bady boy's injuries. In the meantine, Darcy finally finds a friend to unload her many problems on, but that unlucky someone is probably not prepared for everything they're about to hear. (TV Guide Magazine)

A school fight leads Spinner to discover that he has way more to worry about than taking a couple of punches. (The-N)

Spinner develops new worries after having a fight at school. (MSN TV)

Spinner becomes reckless; Marco gives in to Ellie's pleas. (MSN TV)

707 - We Got The Beat
Manny tries to sabotage her parents' plans for her birthday party by finding a horrible date for the event. (TV Guide)

Manny tries to find a date so repellent that her parents will be forced to call off her 18th birthday "debut." This sounds like a job for Jay Hogart. (Cable Talk TV)

Darcy was smoking weed with Spinner, they showed it again. I knew it was Spinner because of the bald head. I think the both of them start losing it because of their issues.
