The promo got me so excited, but I doubt anything will happen to her. They're all designed to have us totally psyched, not accurate. But if something does happen to her, awesome!

I am so confused. Is there, or isnt there a 'date'. As much as I'd like one, it doesnt make sense. She can hardly be in the same room as him, how is a date going to work?

She's without a jacket, and appears to be without a purse, or bag. Is it possible she ran out of somewhere (ie Messer's)? Is this after Danny tells her...cause really, she must be told!

Shewhomustnotbenamed... totally ruins the episode for me. The only way she could possibly be a ...ok... character, is if she and Messer, mututally decide, that it was a mistake, and Messer, totally loves Lindsay. Otherwise, I still have no use for her.

Agreed, Amy. Her appearance looks a bit 'disoriented' for me, as if she was in a hurry to run away, or escape from something, or someone. And yes, like you, I too think it may have got to do with Messer.

Since we see no progress whatsoever in their relationship, or lack thereof, I seriously doubt there'll be a date. I think the writers may have twisted their original script and storyline somewhere along the line. Instead of putting Lindsay on a case with Messer, they use her as plot for the taxi killer case.

Though i doubt anything bad will happen to Lindsay, this may be an eye opener for Messer, especially if she's in this situation because of him. Plus, Mac look seriously pissed off in the promo and sounded pretty desperate to find the guy.

Do i think there'll be a tiny DL moment? Doubtful, especially since this is double case episode with Messer working on a different case.

I am actually more interested to know why Lindsay was out in the rain than the case itself!

On the other hand, didn't the cab killer has some sort of an M.O? I thought he find his victims via the billboard along the street. Unless Lindsay just joint a reality show called, "How my boyfriend cheated on me", her face shouldn't be on any billboard!

Maybe the cabbie changes his M.O or Lindsay was his target all along. But the latter sound so fic-ish for me.

I showed the promo to one of my friends and she said that she thought she was coming from seeing Danny, giving me the thought she ran out one him. Or did I read that somewhere else and just restating it...? Hm... never know.

I hope they don't make it that the reason why Lindsay is in the rain is because she is looking at Danny and that woman interacting in whatever mode across the street. Can you imagine how awful that will look?! A sad Lindsay standing on the street all by herself soaked from the rain watching is (ex)boyfriend with another woman whom he slept with while they were still dating.... Oh my, I'm going to cry.... I hate the angst....

okay, I'm really beginning to think that we don't see Rikki in anything other than flashbacks next week. It would explain why she is one of the last on the guest list.
If next week is the episode where he tells Lindsay about his *ahem*.. indiscretions... I think that would be the trigger that would send her running out into the rain without a jacket or umbrella, and kinda make her forget that she should be careful about getting into a cab.
What happens after that, I have no clue. I'm fairly confident that they won't do anything seriously bad to Lindsay. With that said, I am looking forward to Danny flipping out, and hopefully Lindsay catching the cab killer one handed.

Does anyone know exactly what the spoiler about the basketball game is? I'm hearing conflicting spoilers about it.
Oh, and is next week where Lindsay says she misses being called Montana?

It's funny how we all agreed that Lindsay was in that mess because of Messer! But since promo can be misleading, I'm keeping my options open to other possibilities like Lindsay did not get into that cab, eventhough she was close to. Maybe she give the waiting cab to someone else

However, having said that, i don't mind having Lindsay in that cab just because i want to watch Lindsay kicked some bad guy's ass.

It caught my attention when reading the spoiler for episode 20. Turns out there may be two taxicab killers, with one is the copycat or an imposter who later died in episode 20. So there is a small window for both Lindsay AND Reed being a victim in the game.

But again, Lindsay may got nothing to do with the taxicab killer case at all. They just include her in the promo to elevate the suspense and the anticipation for a great DL reunion, while in truth she just ran out from Messer.

Can we safely assume that there won't be a date after all?

Yeah, thats kinda what I'm thinking too. They just want to make it look more dramatic. And maybe try and reel some viewers back in who stopped watching on account of the whole D/L mess they created. The love for Lindsay will bring back the viewers!

I bet she'll just end up standing in the rain, looking around wildly, and then walk away or go back inside or something. Or she might see a trapped victim speeding by the in cab too... lots of possibilities I think.

The ep description up on the CBS site says something about the killer leaving behind wild parrot flocks. Am I forgetting something about the last episode?

And I am going to continue clinging to the hope that we'll only see Rikki via flashback, and not actually have to have another scene with her and Danny.

I'm not oppose to the idea of Lindsay being in the cab, as long as she manage to gets herself out alive without any help from knight in shining armour Danny! He cannot be a cheater AND a hero at the same time! That's just not fair.
