There seems to be plenty going on in the premiere. Seems like Capp took over Squad 3 for Severide (while is nowhere to be seen). Walsh keep being a pain in the ass and his comments about "what's her name" (aka Daswon) are making Casey's blood boil and Boden is still going through Dawson's transfert process. Oh and Dawson is having lunch with Antonio. lol

how does it even make sense that dawson would cancel her plans with casey and HIS sister just to have lunch with HER brother? makes her seem selfish and one-sided.

Hardly...

After what happened to both she and Antonio (in the PD finale) you'd think they'd want to spend some time with each other. She was in a building that exploded and lost her BFF in it, while Antonio got shot and his wife decided to leave him, taking the kids away with her.

Plus, she did not cancel, she asked Casey if it was ok to rescheduled.

um, the writers had TWO seasons between both fire and pd to make antonio and gabby bond. besides, at some point, you have to have a life of your own and focus on who you share it with on a daily basis... or evade and avoid and ruin it all like the writers will most likely make dawson do. because dick wolf is that cliche. next you'll defend them murdering a gay character for her straight counterpart isn't so kelly can fall in love like. always!
