I just have a feeling that things will go all wrong as in - they'll put too much emphasis on historical politics (which they will bend to fit some story) and romances with original characters and whatnot. I'm just not very hopeful.

Exactly. I'd rather have Sancia than more Ursula and Paulo. I think their storylines got closure last season. I don't see the point in bringing them back.

I'm kind of seriously disappointed that Ursula is coming back. -_- she was kind of a drag, and to be honest I pretty much hated that Cesare liked her so much! I know that that's stupid, and that incest etc is wrong...but I kind of just forget that Lucrezia and Cesare are related because of the chemistry Holliday and Francois have! So my biggest hope for season 2 is to see more of that chemistry. Even if nothing happens (which is the most likely outcome) I love the few minutes per episode that I get to watch a scene between Lucrezia and Cesare

Thanks...I think it's really sad that nothing will ever happen between them in the show though, because I think it would be awful to have that kind of love for someone and not be able to express it.
