EVERY show, every movie has kissing. Thats never a problem, why would it be a problem for..... Demily, of ALL people.

I still believe in it. I dont expect many and often make out sessions but come on....

This sooo shows it is coming. Why else would he tweet that...so randomly! We bugged them weeks ago about a Xmas kiss and no replies then. Now all is quiet and NOW we get that tweet! It is sooooo out there. I honestly, really, believe it is going to happen now, esp in this Nov Sweeps period.

If he's trying to "prepare" people for no kissing at all, wouldn't that be counter-active in, you know, keeping the hype up? Especially for sweeps?

I'm not saying there WILL be kissing, because I can't guarantee that, but I'm also not worried in the slightest about his tweet.

He always posts things like that.

They can't come out and say there won't be kissing yet. That would totally kill everyone's expectations. Not to mention threaten their ratings. For all those people with the mindset of "oh, it's not happening yet, I'll just tune out until they do and catch up then."

Yes, this is reverse phychology. Tell ppl to not expect it and get blown away when it happens afterall.

I am pretty convinced now it is going to happen.

No one complained with the sex scene and that was WAY more than what I would ever expect this season to happen.

But this is exactly what he wants. It will stop the bugging if it doesn't happen but it will soooo effect ppl when it does happen since then everyone has lowered their expectation.

I am now even more than ever believe it is going to happen.
Also, Emily has said there would be more kissing this season and she wasn't meaning Ange&Wendell, or a peck on the hair in the season opener.

I have more faith now than I ever had. Of course, there is still that 1% that knows it might not but IF not, something else just equally as good will happen.

It's Nov sweeps. Something WILL Happen.

That's also a possibly about him using reverse psychology but I don't know, they are just so afraid of doing anything to harm the sexual tension between them on the show. I know a REAL kiss would just increase it but IMO they don't see it that way or we would have gotten a proper kiss by now.

Excellent post! I agree completely.

Like you said, even if there isn't a kiss, there is going to be something just as meaningful and amazing. I mean, most people were expecting a filler episode with episode 6, and look at all of the absolutely amazing things we got from it.

So yeah, November sweeps? Bring it.

for example in House. House and Cuddy kissed last seaon at the start of it. and they STILL aren't together. so I don't see how they can use it as an excuse that once they kiss they have to end up in bed

Ok, I read the tweet again.

Who is normally the person who sits next to you, who you allow to sit next to you. It is ALWAYS someone you are close with, who you allow to be close to you (and I am not talking movie theatre or exhibit hall, or classroom).
It's either a very good female friend, or your boy/girlfriend.

And that is the person you wouldn't mind kissing, would you?

And then he mentions "a lot". Well, that is exactly what you would love to do to the person you allow sitting next to you. Does it simmer down the tension (like SN said)? Hell no. It will only make it worse. LOLOL.

I don't like that tweet from SN. Not because I think it really means anything anyway. But it is just smoke and mirrors. And for some reason I find it condescending and mocking.

If we were getting a kiss this week, do you think he'd tell us? No.

If we aren't getting a kiss til, I don't know, 2011, do you think he'd tell us? No.

I'm sure he thought it was playful, however, did he think it was going to make anyone shut up? And it is not like we are just sitting around creating this stuff. They are the ones who almost made them kiss in Museum. So what does he expect the fandom to do?

Would he rather we all just shut up alltogether? I seriously doubt it. But I don't like his mocking tone.

Sorry, just had to let it off my chest!!!

And in truth I don't think you can infer anything from it. But if I had to go with it meaning "something" then I'd say it is more likely misdirection, like Alauda, says than the opposite.

ITA with everything you've said. I mean, they've never been that concern with our sanity. They even played with it; making us believe that BB would actually have sex for real by the end of season 4. So what's with the concern now? Why would they want us to lower our expectations, they ususally want them to be high. The only answer I can find is: something is actually gonna happen with BB this season; something involving kissing. There's a chance that it might not happen, but not that big a chance
