Yes.. Karen, hehee.. a more involved perspective is definitley what I have..... I've anaylzed all of these spoilers to death... believe me....

But.. you know.. I agree with you 100 percent.. .It really dosen't matter to me about what happens with Booth/Cam or Brennan/another guy..b/c like you said, I know what they have shared.....and what they have together.. Nothing or no one could ever compare with what they have... it's beyond special and it's undeniable.. and yes.....the show will always go back to them and their relationship in the end.

I really don't like the sound of "Girl in the Gator". I hope that Brennan doesn't abandon Booth when he tells her about Cam. He has always been there for her, whether she had a boyfriend or not--he even saves her from Epps just before this one. So I hope the writers don't make Brennan treat Booth badly just when he needs her the most.

I don't want Brennan to be that kind of person and I don't need that kind of angst. Unfortunately that's the kind of vibe I get from these sides.

True. But this is different. Brennan wouldn't be in the wrong if she was angry at Booth. The fact of the matter is.. Booth lied about Cam to Brennan.. he kept it from her on purpose...and he's going to keep lying to her for several episodes. Either way.. when lying is involved.. it makes you lose trust in a person. Especially with how much Brennan has come to trust Booth over the past year.. it's going to sting. I'm not saying I want her to abadon Booth.. I'm their biggest fan..trust me. I'm just stating the facts...... when you lie and keep something from someone..it's always going to have some kind of negative result. But I do have one thing to say. No matter what.. if it really truly came down it.. no matter how angry she is.. I have no doubt. that Brennan would be there for Booth in the end.....if he really needed her.. just like we all know he would be there for her.

And honestly, did everyone think that Booth/Brennan would have no angst before they would ever get together? That it would just be..... easy? Because that is so unrealistic. I knew we would have to see them with other people and there would have to be plenty of angst/drama for it to ever happen. And personally..it's all going to make it more exciting in the end. The feelings are already there.. But in order for something to happen.. something needs to push these two together.. and that something is going to have to be filled with a lot of angst/drama. They need to realize what it really feels like to lose each other first.. and then maybe they will stop hiding from their feelings.

It's not clear how she finds out about Cam.....only that she knows in episode 10, Because in the sides....Booth comes up to her in the woods and tries to explain why he didnt' tell her about Cam. But.. this is all from the sides.. it could be different by now since things can be re-written or re-worked.

Thanks for the welcome Wildfire. There was no better way to start posting than to post on this awesome thread about my favourite show.

I personally would love to see Booth and Brennan get closer in that they do more together than just work and eat together. I would love to see them get more involved in each others lives before they try dating.

I do agree though that they will probably have to go through a time of feeling 'lost' without each other before they realise to what extent their feeling reach.

I cant wait for Thursday when I get home from work. I unfortunately have to wait to download the episodes as I'm too hooked to wait till they start airing here in the UK.

I'm really glad you agree.

I truly do think that's what it's going to take before.. like you said.. to realize the extent of their feelings.

So . before anything major happens for them.. I expect a lot of angst/drama coming our way. But that's okay.. I love them and the show.. and I'm along for the ride.

I really can't wait much longer for this episode. I just want to see what happens already, hehe. And .. aww that sucks that you have to wait to download it. Sorry, but I don't agree. He never lied to Bones about Cam. Ever. He simply didn't tell her he was seeing Cam, just like she didn't tell him she was sleeping with Charlie the overnight guy. That is not a lie. There is absolutely no reason for him to tell a woman he works with who he's sleeping with, even if she is a good friend. Just because Cam is Bones' boss is no reason for either Cam or Booth to tell Brennan about their private life. If that's what happens where you work, all I can say is that I'm glad I don't work there. Booth has never once betrayed Brennan for Cam's sake. All he has done is started up a relationship with someone he knew long before he met Brennan. The reason he has kept it from Bones is the same reason he tried to keep Parker, Tessa and Rebecca from Brennan. He's a private person who doesn't want his private life blabbed all over the Jeffersonian and beyond, which is what would happen and has happened whenever they found out anything about him. No wonder he doesn't want to trust any of them with his private life. Whenever they find out something about someone they know, the squints act like they're still in high school (or even junior high). They run to tell each other with no thought as to whether they are betraying their friend. They gossip about the people they work with despite the fact that it's none of their business. It's mean, sneaky and not an attractive quality. Whatever happened to "Silence is Golden", or the Golden Rule for that matter? It's one of the reasons I'm not a big Angela/Jack fan--they spy on people and blab it to everyone they know, and try to start trouble, which makes them not very nice where I come from. We'll just have to agree to differ.

As for B/B getting together, I know that won't happen soon. But I can also see where Brennan is continuing her treatment of Booth which began in episode 1 of season 2. She basically called him a liar by telling him she didn't believe him when he said that he would continue trying to find her father. And this after what he did for her in "Woman in Limbo." Frankly, if I had to choose either Booth or Brennan for a friend, I'd pick Booth, because Brennan turns like a weather vane whenever she's pouting over imagined bad behavior (like when he missed the funeral because he was trying to stop the gang hit on her). As a good friend, she should just have accepted his word that he had something more urgent to do. Booth always helps her, no matter if he is upset with her or not. Unfortunately, Brennan is not nearly that steadfast.

Booth feels guilty about not telling Brennan about Cam. It has nothing to do with keeping his private life private. He's not telling her because he feels like he's doing something wrong, especially when the relationship between Booth and Brennan has been crossing over into the "more than friends" category. Booth can't have it both ways. Brennan is going to be hurt because no matter what is going on between them romantically, they are friends first and foremost and to not share that part of your life with someone that's supposed to be your really close friend, especially when it's something you both work with, is pretty crappy. It's not like when Booth was dating Tezza. This is a completely different situation because feelings are involved.

Not to be mean, but from your comments you don't sound like you even want them together. I'm kind of surprised because normally one likes both characters when shipping a couple. It seems like you don't like Brennan very much.

MsJ- I see what your saying and I respect it.

My intention was never to start a debate,, lol.... but I'm on Booth's side..and I hope I didn't come off like I was against him. I hold him and his character in very high regard, belive me. All I was trying to say was that.. there's some dishonesty going on..and it's not just my opinion.. the writers said it. That the whole Booth/Cam thing was supposed to foreshadow the lies throughout the whole season. The definition of a "lie".. is based on personal opinion. No.....He didn't lie to her face. It's not like she asked him flat out and he lied.. No. Not once. And no . he NEVER betrayed Brennan for Cam. I agree with you 100 percent there. But he's not being honest with himself or Brennan. What I'm trying to say is that Booth is obviously keeping this information from Brennan on purpose.. he dosen't want her to find out. And he is clearly trying to keep it a secret from her..there's no doubt about that. You made it seem so impersonal.. about why he dosen't want to tell her. Like they are just simply collegues or something.

It's not about keeping his private life private. Their's real feelings involved here.. and no matter what.. they have gotten so close and are cleary on the verge of something..and that's just a very delicate situation. And what you said about Brennan? That's all her simply not being able to trust someone fully b/c of her past. I don't read too much into the stuff that comes out of Brennan's mouth..b/c it's not the truth anyway. She hides from her true emotions and bottles them up..and the stuff that comes out of her mouth is just a defense mechanism so she can't get too close to someone so she can't get hurt. Deep down.. I know for a FACT that she appreciates Booth and how he is always there for her.

Susan- I couldn't agree more.

This is a competely different situation.. than with Tezza or Charlie the overnight guy.. b/c that was before they were barely even friends. They had just started their partnership for gosh sakes. There are real feelings involved here now..and it's just soooo different.

Booth always seems to feel he has to explain stuff to Brennan, remember the Rebecca incident? Booth kept explaining..then she said "Did i say i must know?" So since it's the sides and it could change....maybe IMO Brennan found out from someone else and she ask Booth about it..then Booth again is trying to explain to Brennan why he never told her.
I just hate why they remove the scene where Booth told Bones that "I'm seeing someone you don't approve" and Bones saying "why do you care if i approve" that would've been a great moment...

As for Brennan's ways....She went through a lot...and she's not social at all...so being with Booth and the squints now i think she's starting to learn how to be a friend, how to deal with other people...it won't come easily for her but she's obviously trying. IMO she came a long way.. That funeral thing...Bones pouted for a few seconds, she wasn't that mad at him, especially when Booth said he thought at that time it was more important than the funeral...(i'm just saying

Hi Everyone...this is my first post, but I've been a lurker for a long time. :-)
All of the sides have me really excited for ALL the upcoming episodes! My take on Episode 13 is that Booth will be in therapy because of the death of Epps the week before. This may possibly be something he is ordered to do even, not something he wants to do (just thinking of those times on Alias where they were made to talk to the shrink and had an attitude about being there). I don't think B/B will necessarily be at odds in this ep, just not partners. Brennan is still calling him, and there are probably going to be scenes together we don't know about. It seems at first Brennan is not happy about being with a new partner, but grows to like him (subtext at the end about how she misjudged him at first and there is attraction). Maybe there is angst there with B/B, but I just don't really see it. I don't think they are separated by choice. Maybe in the following episode, Booth and Brennan are back together and all seems well, but there is this new tension because he finds out she is dating Sullivan? Just a guess... I love reading sides and trying to anticipate how it will all go down!
