The new season of Bones goes into hiatus after episode 5, "The Truth in the Lye", airing September 27th, and it will return Novemeber 1st with episode 6, "The Girl in the Suite 2103"

The Season One Box set will be released in the US on Novemeber 28th and on October 2nd in the UK.

2.4- The Blonde in the Game(09/20/06)

Moments after Booth and Brennan unearth the skeletal remains of a young girl, it becomes clear they aren't dealing with just any murder case. Hodgins, Zack and Cam confirm this back at the lab when they discover that the cause of death points straight to Howard Epps, a convicted serial killer who has been on death row for years; Brennan's previous testimony in his case gave Epps a stay of execution. Booth interrogates Epps, seemingly to no avail, but after finding a clue on the deceased girl that leads them to another young body - this one only a week old - they realize that Epps is forcing them to play a deadly game. As the body count rises, Brennan and her team scramble to decipher Epps' cryptic clues in a desperate effort to find his cold-blooded accomplice. The team is pushed even further when it is revealed that the latest victim may still be alive, with only hours left to live. As precious seconds tick away, Brennan and her team must test their limits and confront their fears to save a young girl from becoming a victim in "The Blonde in the Game" episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. 2.5- The Truth in the Lye (9/27/06)

After Booth has a bedroom romp with his ex-girlfriend Rebecca, he gets a call from Brennan about their latest case and agrees to meet her at a condominium construction site. They're led into a partially built unit where they find the gruesome remains of a man dissolving in a bathtub of household cleaning products. After determining the victim had Brittle Bone Disease, they search a database of area BBD victims, all of whom are children, and split up to visit them in hopes of finding a connection to the dead man. When both Brennan and Booth come back with confirmation of the man's identity, they realize he was living a double life with two different families. In what first appears to be a straightforward case of jealousy and insurance money, new clues send Brennan and Booth in a completely different direction and a third suspect is brought to light in "The Truth in the Lye" episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Sept. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. From a recent interview revealing spoilers about the end of episode 5.
Here's an excerpt from her interview with Bones' Emily Deschanel, Michaela Conlin and Eric Millegan...
M.R.: So, I'm very excited about the season opener. What can you guys tell us?
E.D.: Well...
E.M.: There is a new character.
E.D.: There's a new character. Tamara Taylor plays Camille Saroyan, who comes in as the head of forensics at the Jeffersonian. And it's alluded that she's had a relationship with David Boreanaz's character, Booth, in the past, so there's a little spice going on, a little conflict, which is good. A little drama.
E.M.: And the end of the fifth episode totally shocked me, it was totally fun. And I'm not going to tell you what happens.
M.R.: Oh, that's cruel!
M.C.: Oh yeah! Yes.
E.D.: That's true.
E.M.: I'm reading the fifth episode, reading the fifth episode, reading the fifth episode, turn to the last page, [fake screams] "What?!"
M.R.: Oh no.
M.C.: It's good. It's so good.
E.M.: But I won't tell you what that is.
M.R.: Oh great.
E.D.: I did the same thing!
M.R.: Now that I'm dying...
E.M.: Now you have to count the episodes and watch till the end

This is what Emily Deschanel tells me of her status on the set of Bones, and it turns out Emily's sniffles may reveal a squealworthy plot point for the couple everyone wants to see get together--Seeley (Boreanaz) and Bones (Deschanel). "We have a really sexy scene coming up, where it gets hot and steamy," Emily says. "But we get interrupted by someone." Personally, my money's on Jessica Capshaw, who is coming in for a compelling arc this season. "She's the mother of my child, Parker," Boreanaz says, "and she comes in and beats my ass. The first words out of her mouth are, 'Seeley, you son of a bitch!' So, it's all about Booth's women this season. It's gonna be great."

Dude, I am going to squeee so loud. This has me all excited.

Wow.. I didn't think they were going to be doing any sweaty and sexy scenes with BB this early on. What do you think that means Gen? Kiss? Close to a kiss? Upclose body contact? I'm dying to know!

My initial thought was making out, lol. But then I pulled that back to maybe a kiss. I mean, hot and steamy implies more than just them looking at each other, right? Maybe an almost kiss, then. I don't know. It could just be them pretending for that undercover thing, but I'd love to think that it's something real between the two of them. My head is coming up with all kinds of things, lol. Lots of wishful thinking.

I would love to see them kiss.. but I almost think it's too soon for that. I thought the writers weren't planning on taking it to that level between them yet. But .. right now.. I'm thinking they share some kind of *moment*.. an almost kiss.. I'm thinking.. and some kind of contact? and then they get interrupted..... I don't know.. I wouldn't want them to kiss while are undercover mostly......cuz then it wouldn't be real..and when they kiss.. I would want it to be real.I don't know ..unless it sparks some feelings for both of them.... but then again.. I don't want them to ruin their friendship by kissing too soon. All I know.. is I'm dying with anticipation right now to know what happens.

I remember once with the x-files and David said there was a hot and steamy scene coming up and it ended up being them in shower stalls becouse they were contaminated....love that scene...so maybe thats what she means???

I was all prepared to wait a while for anything to happen between them so the news of a hot and steamy scene got me all excited. No matter what it actually means. I think even if they did kiss, it wouldn't have to be a big thing. If it's something while they're undercover I could see them not doing anything about it for a while and it would just add all this extra tension between them which could be awesome.

Oh yeah definitely..if they did share a little kiss or something.... things would be really awkward b/w them in a funny way..and the tension would be that much greater....and then that moment between them would always be in the back of their minds..and it could be really really cute.. but okay.. I think we just need to see this now so we know what exaclty happens. Do we know for sure what episode it happens in?
