I'm happy that OTH got renewed in the fact that the cast & crew still have their jobs. Even though the OTH LP love fest is enough to make me puke in my throat (and believe me, it's happened), I still hate to see people out of work.

I also hope that since Mark is jonesing to put his cheating duo back together, he does it at the end of S5. Please, put us out of our misery so that we all can have a clean slate and either stop watching this show or change the storylines that aren't working a la LP.

I've decided that Owen reminds me of that d0uchebag Federline, only he's not trying to be all gangster and marry the chick for her money and to inject his sperm into her person.

Still, the guy bugs me and I'm hoping that he's Victoria's boytoy, because frankly, that woman is too uppity for my liking. I'm hoping that as gagworthy as it sounds, she's at least getting some good sex because the bitch seriously needs to lighten up.

I'm still hoping for a miracle in S6. Mark needs to stop torturing up with his LP lovefest, because seriously, they've had four plus years of OTH time to get it right. If LP couldn't get it right as teens nor could they get it right as adults, why are they still trying?

I would like to see LP reunite only to realize that though they (and somebody please gag me here) love each other, that love isn't strong enough to overcome life's realizations. It doesn't mean that they don't love each other, but maybe that love is misguided and misdirected, hence a mutual parting.

Then I would like to see Peyton wander off to Savannah to beg and plead for another chance with Jake and for Lucas to go after the inevitable but oh-so-anticipated Brooke, and thus the chase and the professions of love resume.

Actually I'm delighted that we get another season...gives me enough time to finish my fic and you babe will also have inspiration to write...
But do I think that season 6 will be better????....don't think so
There is just no reason to watch it at all...bad storylines and no BL at the moment...what should keep me entertained???

It is definitely strange talking to you on here again...so much time passed...honestly up to this day I thought I would have definitely over 1000 posts....but a lot of girls bailed on the show (me too a bit)...I was cramped with work and busy writing + what is there to speculate about besides LP???

But I'm so glad to see you here again....really...missed you here so much

Gah, since they are into flasbacks, didn't a scene during the time Luc had his heart attack and we had goth Brooke -- didn't Keith tell Luc that there's a difference about caring someone and loving someone -- or something like that.... But it was not shown in the actual ep. Knowing what they did to 3.19, I'm not surprised they didn't show that as well... How could they have scrapped that one huge scene --- Brooke and Luc were together then! It was a huge thing if Brooke finds out about his heart condition! Demmet!

S6 --- You better be worth the wait.

I have mixed emotions when it comes to to Season 6. If this season were like previous seasons (1-3), then I would be ecstatic for a new one. But to have another season after the seasons we've had after 3, not very ecstatic. The show just isn't what it used to be. And with the storylines that are out there, about to happen...it's just plain sad.

I have a feeling that the love fest is going to continue into the next season. And what makes me really mad, I just can't quit this show. Even though it's crap, I still watch it.

Well, if it had been me in Schwann's footsteps, there would have been a hundred other scenarios for BL other than having her randomly break up with him so that he could start his brood-like love fest with LP.

I think that's what irritates me most about love triangles in both primetime & daytime nowadays; the writer's don't know how to write angst-worthy storylines without turning at least one of the characters into the sacrificial, cheating lamb. Someone always has to be the loser and the bad seed, so to speak.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I do think that LP genuinely care about each other. However, I think those feelings are a bit misguided in the sense that they've been in a routine of turning to one another in their time of need for so long, that they've sent mix signals as to where the lines of friendship and love are drawn. I think they've had this sense of comfort for so many years that they have this need to believe what's between them is real, otherwise all those years have been wasted and the true loves of their lives have been lost.

Enough of the LP speculation, though. I really need to stop theorizing because everytime I just think of what Mark has sacrificed at BL's expense, I get angry.

ITA with the post about watching the show, even if it's complete and utter crap. I tend to do that as well when I get hooked on a series, even if the writing is beyond deplorable.

I love seeing the oldies in here.... I love the newbies too but it being one of the people who has been around this thread a long time I sometimes miss the good old times with people who's been here for yrs.

About the LP reunion. We all have heard that LP would reunite in S5 but now with a S6 we have no idea if Mark will drag out their reunion to next season or what is gonna happen. If I could decide these two would never reunite but since I cant and it already seems to be set in stone they will I hope they do it in S5. It feels like we at least stand a little chance if they do.. even though its probably very slim.

But I like that they will just continue to shoot 4 of the first S6 episodes straight after wrapping S5. It will mean we'll know stuff about S6 before the end of S5 has aired on our TVs.

Now that is one thing that I will like. We'll get a little "sneak peek" of S6 this summer. I've already come to a conclusion that it's not gonna be good. I think LP will reunite by the end of this season and it's just gonna drag into next season. My hope for a BL reunion in any way is just gone. I'll take the friendship, though. I do enjoy those scenes.

Its funny how we all want to know what will happen in that first 4 episodes so we'll know if we'll still tune in or not.

Kind of like what we did this season.

Seriously if it wasnt for Sophia I would've been done with this show long ago.

Same here.... What happened to the great storylines back in s2/s3????! When the quoted voiceovers can actually be related to the scenes/events that has been happening?!!!

Brooke: Someone once said, it's the good girls who keep diaries --- when she was with F -- I forgot his name... Him... You can actually connect the quote with the scene.
Whitey's quote about light when Jack's Manequin was there....
Lucas: Quoting pascal - love has reasons that reason does not know... or about being there when someone's dream shattered...

I miss those.... When the stories wre actually believable...

ETA: Regarding S6 and BLP - let's hope this triangle ends this season.... or whats left of it... No LP story dragging please.... How many tries should they have? How many people should they hurt before they get their TLA

But like I said, Im happy they'll continue film the beginning of S6 straight after they wrap S5. We will get a hint of what is coming at us in S6... hell all over again or something new.

I know the feeling. I think we're in for Crapfest 101 all over again in S6 but then there is this tiny part of me that still believes things could take a new direction and I guess that's why I cannot throw in the towel completely. I dont wanna have any hope or anything but there will always be something inside of me saying "maybe just maybe things could change since after all its a TV show"... things can change in the blink of an eye.

But hopefully we'll know by May/June what direction S6 is taking. We should get several filming reports and probably sides as well.

It's gonne be funny because I am sure Marky will pull a Cliffhanger ending for S5 and since they'll film S6 straight after we will know the resulotion of that cliffhanger before we might even see the S5 finale. LOL.
